How many of you actually care about the Scottish league standings? i swear Forest and Dobson must be of Scottish decent to rate that league so high. It would be nice to see a league table from the top 6 European leagues but Scotland?

Yes the Scottish League standings do matter. Celtic have numerous Supporters clubs throughout Ontario and Canada, more than any other club worldwide. You want top 6, use the internet :rolleyes:

Really? I had no idea. I know alot of people are of Scottish descent but football fans? I would of thought there were more Portuguese fans as every Portuguese bar, cafe, bakery in Toronto have a full house watching the Portuguese league.

Your kidding, oh you mean highlights? because all I want is for them to post the top 5 in the Superliga table like they do for Germany, Scotland, La Liga, Italy and sometimes France.

Some times they will show the celtic highlites and just post the Rangers score, and i wanna see the Rangers highlites

hmmm good discussion going on here. The problem is that they don't really have much time. I think they should show highlights of Canadians in action in the top leagues (including MLS).

It wouldn't hurt to run down the tables of the big 6 + Scotland + MLS (and maybe even the english championship). For highlights, I could do without a few portsmouth/southhampton matches in exchange for celtic and rangers highlights.

I couldn't give a rat's ass about SPL highlights myself. A two-team league with minimal Cdn content (I hope McKenna gets out of there soon).
The Scottish ex-pats can buy FSW and get their SPL game of the week but have SoccerCentral do a bit more in promoting Cdn players and teams.

Rangers have a very large following in southern Ontario because that was the destination of choice in emigration terms for their natural fanbase in much the same way Boston is for Celtic.

Celtic vs Rangers pretty much sums up the the SPL - which is eactly why no one gives a toss about it.

I'd rather watch Pompey vs Saints any day!

I really do like Forrest a lot as an analyst and like how the show runs, though. CARL FLETCHER, on the other hand (did Euro cup for TSN I believe)... well, let's just say that he'll never get a commentating job anywhere ever again :D it was actually worse than his defense! (just a cheap shot there... haha, he was alright for us)
