Maybe the scarfers, but trust me about the hardcore fans, i.e. Two Bob himself, Justin from Two Bob and many others being at PoW after the match.
Who is Two Bob?
Who is Justin from Two Bob?
Having been hanging around West Ham's mailing list for the past seven years, I can't believe its been seven years, I've never heard of it. Seems odd.

Eddie, for drinking after the match the Prince of Wales was it. People talk about the Boleyn or the Green Man before the match but all the cool kids used to go to the PoW after. It closed shortly after last season so it was my first and only after match experience.
(I'll be completely honest, I thought it was cool to see ICF guys in there.) :)

Agreed. Our 'contact' said Cass usually showed up later into the evening but we had to get back to central London. It would have been a trip to meet him.

Never had Carling. Is it available in the US?

I've never seen it here. I'd say it tastes a lot like Molson. Nothing special. If you're looking for a good lager try Brooklyn Lager or Yuengling. England is better for ale.

Call the local beer store and ask them.
If I had seen this before I got my pizza I would have asked the Belgian guy for you.
I'm pretty sure it is available, but drink Duvel instead.

Fayetteville has no beer speciality place. Nearest one that I can think of is Dunderburke's Deli in Crabtree Valley mall in Raleigh. I dont even know if that is even there any more.
If a country made a beer, they had it. All I have to pick from is the selection at the local Harris Teeter.

Duvel is excellent. But my favorite Belgian beer is Palm.

I haven't had Palm. I need to get back to that part of the world.
How about that Feyenoord?

You are weird.
Why don't you want them to go to Europe?
Don't they deserve the chance to make real money? To improve in their livelihoods?
The best thing about Feyenoord is they can be loaned to Excelcior and get to play in the top league and prove themselves before they move to Feyenoord full time.

Everyone deserves a chance to make real money.
But we need some top tier and mid tier stars to stay here.
I have a couple of kids that watch MLS on my JV team, I want them to identify and grow up with some players in MLS ... like Boca and Howard.
I want them to have someone to follow but it is hard to begrudge someone turning taking the huge paycheck.

Another young star will take their place, Kelly Gray or a DJ Countess or a Matt Jordan, or some kid you didn't know existed.

This is true. And I dont mind it.
But to the 13 year old kid that identifies with Timmy Howard for a couple of years only to see him bolt to Europe ... is it that easy just to pick a new person to pull for?
