I did bad because I rushed my write-ups. If I spent more time analyzing, I would've done better. Oh well...

I might have come second, but I lost to a two-man team so I technically outscored both of them individually :D. Dark, post the individual match results & such would ya? Goo'wan!
And BTW, if Suss player a central midfield of Veron--Abelda against me, he would have met a Lampard--Gattuso--Malbranque trio, ouch!

Sorry I can't help anyone out with 'answers' per se. I am not privy to each judges thoughts. It's up to them whether they disclose in here or not.

I delelted this post from the other thread... here it is...
There should be a thread where the judges post each player's write ups...
well, i dont know if I would agree to that... i dont want my opponents to know jpj's deep dark secrets and tactics... formation maybe... but not the tactics...
EDIT: YAY!!!
EDIT2: I'd love to see scorelines of the games if possible...

So you think this means your "Marquez anchors Barca's defense" line worked on the judges?

No... i think i'd rather not have our team's strategies discussed in a forum where my future opponents can read and analyze our team further... its just not done...

Wait, so we would not be able to see the results game-by-game from each judge with the actual score? That would've provided us with opportunity to see exactly what judges thought of each matchup. And it could help with possible formation adjustsments in the later stages of the tournament.
EDIT: Also, DS, how exactly are the final group standings determined? Do you just add up the places each judge put a team in, add up all the points (1 point=1st place, 2 points=second place, etc.), and the team with lowest score gets the first place, etc.?

Remember, if this was a real tournament, second round opponents would be able to watch your matches, study tapes of them, and make adjustments.
So, what is wrong with the judges revealing some information? If would be fun, and it is more realistic. But it's their call.

Well as Dark Savante said, if you want to post your scores... go ahead! I am itching to know how I did against who.

Malbranque isn't even a central midfielder. Gattuso doesn't go foward, and Albleda could have handled Lampard.

what about when the draft is done?
no problem with that...
with regards to other points made....
1. the tactics sent to the judges are special... what you see when you watch a team play is different... you can analyze, but you dont know the motivation of the players... ie, what positions they try to get into, how the team expects to win etc... I know you would glean more than a base formation, but I'm not comfortable with releasing the complete tactics until after the competition is done... mainly because it gives away too much... seeing how players play in one or two matches is different from hearing the words the coach puts into their heads... it would make it much easier to break down a team if you knew exactly what their tactics were.

What is the format of this again? Can any thrid place teams go through? Not that it matters, since only one judge appreciates my team.
