Rangers 1 - 2 Celtic
A superb and well deserved win at Ipox that puts us 5 points ahead with 4 games to go......it's in our hands, was disappointed that Bellamy came off otherwise we would scored a few more goals, still a win is a win.

Ooops, not more bad reps *hides*
Great game today really enjoyed it and that not just the alcohol talking :-) Bellamy was just walking through their defence, if he had stayed on we could have easily added a few more. Felt sorry for Beattie, he had at least three great chances and did nothing with them, poor guy.
Your right, need to win against the other teams, we been having a hard time doing that recently
Still...enjoying the day.

Jesus what is it around here, another bad rep for
"implying results in a thread title is against board policy" because I said Congratulations Celtic as the title.
Wonder if I had said "Congratulations Celtic" and then a post about their charitible work if the title would have also
"implying results in a thread title is against board policy"
some petty people on here :-)

This is starting to tickle my sense of humour now, must be because my team had a big, big win today.

Great Celtic win over Rangers at CastleGraySkull. A superb display by the team moves us 5 points further ahead of the whinning blues. :)

Some animal in the Rangers support threw a cup at Petrov, I hear. Surely it's time to make these fixtures closed-door affairs.

Yes terrible behaviour by the Rangers support, but don't worry about Petrov,
the cup was full of lite ale :)

Petrov made the most of it, but for once, I can't blame him. If that was the best way of attracting attention to what went on, then he was justified in doing so.
Anyawy, on the footballing side, well done to Celtic. I don't like either of the Old Firm (as you can tell :P) but I like seeing Scottish clubs doing well in Europe, as it boosts our UEFA ranking. Celtic, I feel, have a better chance of progressing than Rangers do, so good luck to them in the CL.

Just disappointed to see bellamy go off, with them pushing up in the second half he would have had a field day..stil it appears he only had a "twinge"
I cannot understand Rangers playing big marv, if the guy end's up crocked then they have blame in it...the docs say operate, so they should operate.

They can't operate against the player's wishes, though. I don't read up on the OF a lot but last I heard, he was putting faith in just getting better naturally (being a religious man) and refusing treatment?
I agree, though, it seems foolish to use a player in such a condition.

C'mon the crap that goes on in Europe is scary, however I wish morons like the throwers of things at football matches would stay away they are not welcome.
Bigger concern to me was what Bellamy was booked for, I have not seen it close up, but I'm told it was was nothing....i watch with interest, i think it's on tonight.

Great match. "Torment" is not the word for what Bellamy did to the Rangers defense. Lucky they were that he missed the second half, hope it's not a bad injury. His and Petrov's were two crackers. Marshall was virtually flawless. Only sorry McGeady didn't play, but there's plenty to come.
Well done Celtic :D

I think Bellamy coming off was more of a precaution rather than anything serious...he would have ran riot in the second half if he'd stayed on, Beattie had a great opportunity to make a name for himself, I was sorry to see not take it. The goals are on the welsh thread, believe me mate being there was superb.

Sour grapes anyone :( ?
Prohibition on implying results in a thread title; what a great rule. It safeguards those who don't want to know the result of a match, perhaps because they're planning on watching it at a later time. Ok, that's all well and good. But I'll say this much. If there's one pleace I'd make sure to steer clear of, if trying to avoid a soccer result.. a site devoted to discussing such matters wouldn't be a bad idea ;) .

I've always thought rules about not posting results or implied results are stupid . If you don't want to know the result of a match , why would you go to a place on the internet where the sport is talked about FFS .
