To be honest with you all, you don't have too good of a 'team'. Great individual players, but they don't fit together.

dude, you really need to do your homework before you come to the England board and start spewing nonsense. Carragher starting on defense, are you silly? How can you leave off one of the premiere defenders in the world Rio Ferdinand? SWP, ridiculous, Beckham is starting to get back to the old form we all know and love and leaving the Captain out shows me you are really lacking in England Team knowledge. SWP is a great talent but not ready to start ahead of Becks. Did you watch him choke 2 gimmie goals in the friendly with Holland?

Steven Gerrard should be our captain, not Beckham.

Woodgate will go if he's fit, but I don't think anyone actually believes he will be.

your success internationally has obviously shown you can not stick with the norm...john terry is a must on the national team - rio is soft and not a premier defender, ask anyone outside of the uk...beckham is not a good soccer player...he would be great for kickball...swp is dangerous and quick...

On form Campbell is better then Terry, plus the Campbell/Ferdinand duo is one of the best in the world.

Excellent statement!!! I 100% agree with you. If Campbell is back to 100%, he is better than Terry!

I don't think Joe Cole is left footed or is he? I think SWP is quite capable of playing on the left wings I'm not really sure how good his left foot is though.

Pretty sure J.Cole is not a natural left foot. No ones mentioned it yet but I have to say that it doesn't get much better than the combo of Lampard & Gerrard in the middle.

They are dynamite in the middle. There is not another midfield that is better in my opinion. Cole is a lefty. The future left wing position lies with Mr. Downing though. He is a natural!! All he needs is time and he will be there.
