I would like to see Kezman get a start and if that doesn't work, put Drogba in on 60 minutes to batter them the rest of the way.Ohh no. I'd take my chances with Forssell over Kez. I know he had a run of a few games where he knocked in a few in point-blank range, but i'm still not sold on him. Give Drogs, Cole, Terry, and maybe Duffer a rest. Robben should get some time off the bench to get the rust off before Liverpool, but the latest is that he's still hasn't started training with the team.

Yep, i don't think Robben will play against Pool at all if he hasn't begun training. I think JM is saving him for CL finals. ;)

Robben returns to Chelsea squad (http://soccernet.espn.go.com/headlinenews?id=331492&cc=5739)
Looks like Mourinho wants to give him a run-around before Liverpool. How nice :D It also seems both Duff & Cole have been a bit overworked recently, so a rest for one of them would be an added bonus.

As i recall, last time, after the injury, Robben spent one game on the bench and played no minutes, then played for 15 minutes in the next game. If that's the trend, he shouldn't play in this game. If Robben is not 110%, he should not be playing. It's obvious his ankle is very fragile and he will need to do some serious work in the off-season to make it stronger and less prone to injury. I would love to see him play on Saturday, but he has a whole career in ahead of him, so we should be careful, especially if that carrer is with Chelsea. ;)

Hynpotist: You are all very good players...
Team: [entranced] We are all very good players...
Hypnotist: You will beat Shelbyville...
Team: We will beat Shelbyville...
Hypnotist: You will give one hundred and ten percent...
Team: That's impossible. No one can give more than one hundred percent.
By definition that is the most anyone can give...

Has Robben played at all for the reserves?

Thanks. I really don't see any point in risking Robben for the game. He obviously needs game time to get sharp, but we all know that he will be targeted for some heavy treatment. Surely it is better to wait until he is stronger, rather than throwing him straight back into the mix?

Doubt he'll come on if the games still in the balance.
Might get the last 15mins if it's put away.

FUSA - Being a fan of the Blues that you are, tell me about life as a Chelsea fan before Roman Abramovich took over in the Summer of 2003. Is it true that Chelsea was a few days away from filing for bankruptcy when the Russian Oil tycoon took over?
Man, shut the ******** up with that nonsense and tell me about life as a Fulham fan before Al-Fayed took over...Is it true that Fulham were a few seasons away from being in the Conference when the Egyptian merchant tycoon took over?

Wow. Did not see that coming. Not happy with the decision to be honest. Although I have a feeling this means Duff won't start. I really want to have Robben back for the second leg against 'Pool. When on form he's quite possibly the most counterattack option in the world because he's so good on the run.

last post before bed:
Fulham will be without striker Andy Cole and midfielder Papa Bouba Diop for Saturday lunchtime's Premiership visit to Chelsea. :)
Keeper Petr Cech is just one clean sheet away from equalling Manchester United's Premiership record of 24 shut-outs in a season... :D:D
Come on you Blues!!

Nice job. Our stories are actually almost the same.
My first introduction to any kind of soccer on TV was USA 94. I told my MCL, meniscus and patella that summer and was laid up in bed all day, I was 16 years old. Only thing I had to do was watch soccer on ESPN and ABC (I think those two carried every game of USA 94) and I watched every game (had no choice, laid up in bed) and loved it.
I didn't choose Chelsea, Chelsea chose me. I've been supporting Chelsea since around the time the EPL was formed (I think it was the first year, like 1994), SportsChannel Philadelphia on Saturday nights (late, like 1am) would show a game and then a wrapup style show. I was around 15 or 16 then and my Dad and I would watch it every week. For whatever reason, we followed Chelsea. I loved Wisey. Then the following year when I first saw Ruud Guillt, Zola, Di Matteo I was sold. After that year, SportsChannel just went away but my Dad got a satellite dish so we could continue to watch. I just snowballed from there.
