Who is David Topolski? (Help - information needed)

Apparently a Polish soccer player named David Topolski is practicing with DC United. None of us DC United supporters know anything about him other than what's reported on the DC United website.

"Joining United for training today was David Topolski. The 18-year-old Polish forward/midfielder will remain with the club for Tuesday's and Wednesday's trainings, but will not see action on Thursday night"

I was hoping that someone on the board might know something more. Any information you have would be greatly appreciated.

It looks like David played for “SKP Slupca”, in the Polish 4th Division.

Thats correct. Hes a midfielder and plays on the Polish U19 team. In the U19 European Championships in Group 2, in 3 games he started in 1 match and scored 1 goal against Croatia.

I just googled David, and was happily surprised to find this!

David's father is Adam Topolski, who played for the Pittsburgh Spirit (in the John Kowalski/Stan Terlecki years), and now coaches a Polish team. David was born in the US while they were here, and maintains dual citizenship. The last time I saw him play was about 5 years ago, and he was better than any of the Riverhounds!
