View Full Version : Quick clarification re: Law 12

I'm a player, not a ref. The exact wording to the modification to Law 12 states:
- Law 12 – Fouls and Misconduct: Any player removing his jersey after scoring a goal shall be cautioned for unsporting behaviour.
Does that include pulling the jersey over your head. IOW, not removing, but pulling up.

A USSF Memorandum of June 29 2004 says:
"'Removing the jersey' includes covering the head and pulling the jersey over the head as well as complete removal of the shirt."

Yup, I mean I really needed that 45-60 minutes about what is over the head and what isnt.
