why not a Saprissa thread?,I use to be the only saprissa fan in BS, now we are about 10, and that number will keep increasing day by day, game by game

Saprissa's status

1-Qualified for the CCC final games versus Pumas de mex

2-We are 3 in our local league group, we have 2 games left, we need to get 3-4 points to qualify to the semis, win this Clausura Title and the play PZ for the 2004-2005 championship

Saprissa also has professional Bicycle and Basketball teams

Saprissa has 2 different eras, pre and post Vergara

Before he bouth the 51% of the team, 3 years ago, we used to have extrangeros as every other team, the last extrangero we had was Jose Carlos Cancela, i think he is or was in the MLS
Other good extrangeros that Saprissa hired>>Adonis hilario (BRA), adrian Mahia (ARG), Amado Guevara (HON), Alejandro Larrea (URU), Marcelo Saraiva (URU)

After Vergara, a lot of things changed, no more extrangeros, no more publicity in the uniforms, only sapri-cola can be selled in Saprissa's stadium...etc

The Sapri-cola thing is not a joke, it is like a bad pepsi-cola, and that is the only soda that is sold in the stadium....

ure welcome morado , anyone can Im me on aol at romero0009 and ask questions aobut saprissa and their status . or post here .

also , morado im a little new here and dont understand mutch aobut fourms but ALOT about computers , but i do have all of the knowlage for saprissa via internet . Also i watch Teletica noticas on Centroamerica TV , Canal 6 at a local bar , FOXSC , FOXSE , and gol tv . So if thares any questions u dont know feel free to ask if u dont know them .

Also i got aobut 10 sapri colas in my firdge , nice and cold ... lol they taste like the RC cola you whould get at PALI in costa rica or RC cola ud get here in Philly.

Thares also Chiva cola in Vergara's arsenal ..

Also for ppl wanting to get Saprissa Offical Jerzys . At the moment its inpossible beacuse thare only made for the players , barely any of the lower teams of saprissa have the rebok , they usally rock the no name - hecho en mexico- jerzys from last year ..

Ronald "la bala" Gómez es baja en el Deportivo Saprissa, ya que esta mañana se le rompió el menisco de la rodilla derecha durante el entrenamiento matutino.

Willy Gálvez, médico del Saprissa, confirmó la noticia y afirmó que la lesión anterior nada tiene que ver con la que presenta en este momento el delantero. La lesión se puede presentar debido a la sobrecarga de partidos y el mal estado de algunas canchas en las que se juega

Gómez será operado a las siete de la noche en la Clínica Católica y quedará fuera de toda actividad física durante los próximos 12 días.

Does anyone have any idea what kind of payroll Saprissa has for players?

Who are the Highest paid players and how much do they make?

What about other teams in Costa Rica?

Any ideas about their budgets.

Saprissa's players get between $1500 to $3000 per month, at least that is what is reported, soccer players always get prizes and different bonuses also]

Highest salaries are for Walter Centeno #8 and ronald Gomez #11

highest salary in Costa Rica is for Froylan Ledezma #21, from alajuela, about $4000/month+prizes/bonuses

Saprissa, heredia, alajuela and Brujas are the richest teams in CR, and they pay the highest salaries

I can not provide any link for this, but that's what i've heard in local media
