View Full Version : Question about Pt Auth Bus

A co-worker of mine is travelling over for the England matches in May and as such he wants to catch the Metro v Fire match. I told him for the better pre-game time to go to 16A-- they were good to me when I was in ESC. In any case, he's taking the Port Authority bus to the match in all likelihood. Just want to know if it drops off in 16A.

I think i know this!
the bus will pull into port (its not a real port, just a phrase!) over by the "bubble" (training pitch) and you head east towards the empire state building in the distance. there you will find the ESC and lot 16-a. I hope that is right, unless my memory is terrible then it should be.
If your mate is coming from the Uk and wants to meet up in Nevada's and head over to the game together then PM me. :D

well I can only assume my memory serves me correctly then and I have given the correct directions as nobody has bothered to prove me wrong!

You are correct. The busses pull into Gate D, on the south west side of the stadium.
To get to lot 16A, walk east along the south side of the stadium to Gate C, and look around- there you are.

Correct -- very easy to take too! I take it all the time.
Just get a round trip ticket at one of the many the NJ transit booths.
Make sure you tell the teller specifically, the Metrostars match at Giants Stadium and get a gate number....they'll just as soon send you on the bus to the race track, or the arena.
