For this cup I think we should go all out, since Japan is a very good team. I saw their WCQ on a show called Fotball Asia on FSC and to me they seemed very fast, technical, and relentless  .Zico has trained them well, and I look forward to see them play against Peru :) . Anyways...my starting line up would be:

--------------------Butron--------------
----Prado---Rodrigez---Acasciete---Vargas---
------------Cuirlizza---------Jayo-------------
--------Solano--------------Cominges------
-------------Pizarro-------------------------
--------------------------Guerrero--------

My list would be:
GK:Butron,Delgado
DF:prado, rodrigez, villata,acasciete, vargas, vilchez,hidalgo
MF:solano,cominges,jayo,cuirlizza, ????,????
FW:Farfan(seems unlikely),Pizarro,Guerrero,????

what do you guys think?????

i would only call players playing in peru its the perfect opportunity to see what we have

a possible 11 could be

---------------Butron
--Prado--Rodriguez--Villalta--Hernandez
----Ccahuantico----Ciurlizza--Cevasco
----------------H Salas
------------Ross-----Vasallo

maybe call julio garcia and martin hidalgo just to give them a run

I kind of have mixed feelings about taking a local based team... on one hand it would be good to see them perform internationally but on the other I fear that they would be crushed by Japan and that would be embarrasing, although I think that we could beat UAE with that team.

maybe take a local based team for the uae match and put some of the "stars" against japan, i think we get to take 23 players

Uhhh, I feel we should take the team that will face Colombia and Uruguay in the next WCQ match. I dont think Autori should even mess around experimenting. I think its bad enough the current NT dosent get enough time together for practice for previous WCQ matches, as they are spread out in different countries. I say once again, this tournament will be great practice for the current national team.

I happen to agree with you.

Best thing that could happen is to have Claudio scoring a bunch of goals and regaining his confidence towards goal with Peru's jersey.

.

it could also be used to try players at problem positions like
right back and left midfield

also give leao a shot in goal

also give leao a shot in goal

I thinks he could get a shot on goal in this tournie ... but just toaccumulate some minutes with the first team. I don't see Leao taking Ibanez' spot in the NT in this WCQ.

.

no he wont with 5 matches to go, but after these qualifiers he should be the number 1(especially if we dont qualify)

hes as good as ibanes, probably better

but he lacks expirience at that level

Hopefully when butron becomes our #1 his great performances will make international clubs look at him...
one other thing that I would like to see would be a different formations like:
4-1-3-2
or
3-2-3-2

I actually wouldnt mind butron as the number 1 in the next 2010 WCQ matches. I remember when Farfan was on Alianza and he use to be a kick ass goalie. Not sure whats up with him now, if Alianza's bad performance is his fault. But from my memories watching him on GOLtv, I liked him.

I've said it once and I'll say it again:

Chiquito seleccion.

He's shining once again for your new league leaders ;) getting more and more mature and he's still the most talented goalie in Peru.

Oh yeah, give Alva a shot too.

This Kirin cup is in May then. Well are there are any Fifa official international soccer dates in May? Because if there aren't I doubt any European team will want to let go of their players, so playing with our European stars (aka Pizarro, Farfan, Guerrero, Solano, etc.) won't be very likely.

Peru played the Kirin Cup before and I think we won it although we didn't play very good. I don't think it's a very important tournament so I do believe we should go with a young team, players we can use in the future games.

My team would be the following:

Goalie: Delgado
Defenders: Vargas, Rodriguez, Villalta, Vilchez
Midfield: Carlos Lobaton, Cominges (if he's back from injury), Ismodes, Zegarra
Forward: Ross, Vasallo

subs: Butron, Roberto Jimenez, Moisela, Quinteros, Corcuera, Hildem Salas, Iglesias, Wilder Galliquio, Gonzales Vigil

you have to be kidding me alva?

man he was useless for cristal, and was sent home from his argie adventure without even scoring once(im not 100% sure about this) i sometimes wondered how he ever became a pro.

chiquito and ibanes on the same squad...now that would be interesting;)

nah i think chiquito is third behind erick delgado and leao butron

delgado is the more talented of the 3, but lacks expirience

leao is the most secure, good on crosses and pks and has good distribution skills

chiquito is aight, id like to see how he goes in the sudamericana

anybody knows if they are going to show the copa kirin in the US? or in CMD?
By the way Zuņiga should get a chance since we are going to be playing against small teams (dwarfs of japan and UAE).

I believe that in the bundesliga is mathematicly won for Bayern by May then Felix would let them go play. The question I pose is this, should we play them in the Kirin Cup and try to find some much-needed form for the upcoming qualifiers or do we experiment with a local team to try to find some new talent.
