I'm so sick of all these Man Utd PPVs - Damn you, Fox

For the past xxx years, FSC/FSW has been my favorite channel of all time - even ranking above the Playboy channel's high rankings in my pre- and early teens lol. This season, though, they do not show hardly any Man Utd games (my fav) instead opting for PPV for the Man Utd games and I'm just about totally fed up.

I've paid many times for the PPVs in the past but you know what? It aint' worth it - it just breeds more greed on your part ("Hey - let's show the Arsenal game today instead of Man Utd. The Man Utd fans all buy the PPVs!"). I'm fed up - it's a frigging joke now. Any game that is worth anything to a united fan has almost always been on PPV this season. And when FSC does kindly throw us a bone recently, we get crap like a (should-have-been) meaningless match against Norwich for God's sake. And don't say "FSC shows lots of United games!" - to be fair, FSC does show lots of United games. However they're almost always 72 hours after the friggin match has been played and I'm not nearly as interested then...

Let's have a gander at which teams FSC is showing instead of showing us the Man Utd game tomorrow:

Sat Apr 16 09:00AM Pacific
Birmingham City vs Portsmouth

Sat Apr 16 12:00PM Pacific
Crystal Palace vs Norwich City

Sun Apr 17 10:00AM Pacific
Charlton Athletic vs Bolton Wanderers

I'd be surprised if they have more than a handful of households watching those matches - what a lot of crap.

Was this because of the "We want more games!" requests from viewers last year? Well, FSC shows more games but nine out of ten EPL-based games they show are Crap team vs. Crap team.

Argghh - this has been a frustrating season as an FSC fan and as an MUFC fan... The bottom line is that FSC is becoming largely irrelevant to me. I never thought I would ever say that but it's now true :(

Man U are always on ppv if they kickoff on Sat 3pm or Sun 4pm (local British time)

FSC shows ALL Sat start times of noon or 5:15, whether ManU is playing or not. Likewise Sun 2pm kickoff time.

More accurately, FOX Soccer Channel doesn't get first pick. However, FOX Sports International does, and they decide to put the game that they believe the most people will buy among those kicking off at 10:00 AM ET on PPV. FSC then gets the second choice, which they air on 5 hour delay.

Since Manchester United is thought to be the most popular team, they are chosen for PPV whenever possible, because they know people like bigtoga will pay for it.

Don't pay for it. I'm myself a ManUtd fan. I never pay for any PPV for ManUtd matches. I'll watch the match tomorrow morning live, just not on PPV.

Thank the EPL for that, by scheduling those games for midweek that's what gets them onto FSC. Had they been on a weekend one if not both would have been on PPV.
