We have Mehdi Mahdavikia in HSV, Fereydoon Zandi in Kaiserslaurten, and Vahid Hashemian in Bayern

all of a sudden none of these players are starting. And they are all doing great and in great form.....

is it racism ?

Welcome Ali, you seem rather new here. But I am sorry, you post utter nonsense. They all played very badly in all games where they appeared this season, with the exception of Mahdavikia who had a few very good scenes against Bremen last week (but his start to the season was horrible!). Having said that, I understand that you don't like Hashemian's sitiuation at Bayern. He should change to a smaller club, obviously he played far better for Bochum.

As for racism, since when are Iranians a different race? Get your facts straight.

Hmm it could be. I mean it makes no sense, at least in this man's
http://img111.echo.cx/img111/6042/zandi124py.gif (http://www.imageshack.us)
case. The guy was said to be Kaiserslaurten's main player by their own coach, yet after he played his first game for the superior nation of Iran (the real aryans may I add, you silly brain washed Germans) the coach put him on the bench.

Hmm another reason for them siting on the bench could simply be because they are too good for the league they play in and their coaches don't want them to school their fellow countrymen on the pitch, then again thats racism too isn't?

I kid I kid, I will invite you all to my tea party, don't worry there will be plenty of Susages(Germans favorite food) served, just for you guys :)

Guess who's the racist in this thread. http://www.moonsault.de/forum/graemlins/nene.gif

Zandi played very often for Kaiserslautern, but wasn't able to convince the coach. Popular soccer magazine KICKER gave him an average rating of 4,10 for 21 played games. Really bad...
Mahdavikia probably is a good player, but not better then Barbarez (Bosnia-Herzigowina), Mpenza (Belgium), Takahara (Japan) or Lauth (Germany... ********, a Nazi ^^). KICKER ratet him with a terrible 4,27 for 15 played games.
Hashemian is a bad joke... he has NO chance in hell against Makaay (Netherlands), Pizarro (Italy), Guerrero (Spain) or Santa Cruz (Spain). Got a 4,75 from KICKER.

ok, you obviously dont know what you are talking about. Before all our players had to go back to iran to play in WCQ, they had starting positions, besided Hashemian. And before a game that hashemian didnt go to play Tel Aviv with the team he hasnt played at all. But for Zandi, once he chose to play in iran, his playing time was cut. He hasnt played yet.

Oh and by the way smart guy, Guerrero is form Peru ;)

It's not the club managers' fault that Iranian players are mediocre.

Here is another name for you, Aschkan Dejagah from Hertha Berlin. He has played only one game for them this season but has played for the German U21 National Team. Racist indeed...

Yup, the "Club" is racist against German National Team players...

I think we Iranians should just be happy that three of our players are playing in a top league like the Bundesliga.

Just a typing error. *rofl*

But you know that Zandi suffered an eye injury right after his decision to play for iran? And you know that Sforza, the guy who's playing for Zandi actually, makes a better job than Zandi 'cause he has MUCH MORE experience? And you know that Hashemian just had the cahnce to play for Bayern Munich at the beginning of this season 'cause Pizarro was heavily injured?

if zandi had an eye injury then how did he play for iran a few weeks later??

Zandi suffered an eye injury in january and got a medicament which isn't allowed due to the doping list. Because of the danger that Zandi could be suspended the club's management didn't want him to play in official matches antul february. In the interval the two players Sforza and Grammozis played very good and convinced coach Jara of their qualities. Furthermore Jara changed to formation from a 4-2-3-1 to 4-4-2 oder even 4-3-3 and Zandi's position in the new formation was even inexistent. But Kaiserslautern got a new trainer last week and perhaps Zandi will be back on the pitch very soon.

BTW: Interesting that you accuse the club of racism before asking for the reasons of Zandi's non-consideration.

Santa Cruz AND Guerrero (wasn't a mistake by me) both have a spanish passport, Pizarro an italian one. This "system" has the advantage that Bayern doesn't have problems with the "Non-EU rule" (bad translation, sry).

So......I have a German Passport,doesn't mean i'm German

As long as they're playing with ther second passport in the Bundesliga in order not to violate the Non-Eu-rule their southamerican nationlity is irrelevant. That's a topic about their Bundesliga clubs and not about the national teams.

BTW: how many games did Bayern Munich play with Pizarro, Guerrero, Santa Cruz, Ze Roberto, Lucio and Demichelis on the pitch at the same time? If most of these players wouldn't have an european passport Bayern would have a big problem. :D According to FIFA european teams are allowed to play with three (!) non-european players. If Bayern would list all these players with their southamerican passports, FIFA would disqualify them. So, what's so false about posting their european nationalities while speaking about their role in the Bundesliga??

No, I don't think this has to do anything with racism ali jan because there are a lot Iranian people living in Germany and the German people have nothing against them so I wouldn't call this racism.

The funny thing is when Mahdavikia was the MOTM last time when he was starting Kicker gave him a 4 so therefore I don't think Kicker is very reliable. I remember they also gave two times a 4 to Zandi even when he scored (not sure about this but I remember I saw something like this).

But Mahdavikia started today and hopefully Hashemian will leave Bayern to get playtime. And tomorrow hopefully Zandi will get a chance and also Navidkia :)

I can't say anything about Hashemian or Zandi, but Mahdavikia sucked like hell in the last couple of months!
And that has nothing to do with racism, he's the most popular player in Hamburg (whole stadium screaming "MEHDIIIIIIIII" when he has the ball). He just played like crap for far too long. And that was even more disappointing coz everybody here in Hamburg knows what he can, but he didn't show anything of his abilities for a long, long time. The game vs. Bremen was his best in months, so I guess he's back, coz he started vs. Schalke as well.
