If he had been fully healthy I think he would win but they'll give this to Shrek or SWP.

He's a players player.

tuff call, but Rooney has certenly 'dulled the shine' on himself in the past few weeks.

Rooney - he's English(!) and he has been the main striking force for Man U this season, IMO.

I guess rooney is popular with the players, but I think I would vote for SWP or Downing.
Robben has been injured otherwise I think he would have got it.

Makelele is the reason we'll win the EPL this season. But, because of the way he plays, he doesn't win awards like this.
I said it. I know it's not true, but players like Makelele just get overlooked by everyone but the football super cognozenti elite thinking intelligentsia. You know, people like me. ;)

I would vote Terry, Henry, Rooney... Which could be the way their teams finish this year as well lol
