I can say with quite alot of certainty that most players in the oberliga are not juniors, and are alsonot very talented at all.

oh seriously? thanks for your help tho.
Last summer i went and played with a travel team in Koln area a league under verbandesliga and they are just terrible. They all chase the ball and dont really know what to do. As you guys might know im going back in the sumemr for 3 months and about 5min from my uncles house there is a team in Verbandsliga that are in 4th place.
anyway iam just curiouse to know how good these kids are because if they are not good i was planning to go and see if i could go for a jr. bundesliga team.
anyway how good are they in jr.bundesliga and verbadsliga ?
thanks

anyone?
Sören Halfar played some games for 96 this season. He only played with the juniors before not with the 96-amateurs.
He didn't look that out of place.
I think there are players in the Oberliga and Verbandsliga that are just not talented enough to make it in the higher leagues whereas players in the junior-squads of Bundesliga-teams are big prospects. It's not easy to make it there.
Did anyone watch Champions (http://www.amazon.de/exec/obidos/ASIN/B0007Y88SA/qid=1113738385/sr=2-1/ref=sr_2_11_1/028-3207483-3783721)?
It's about 4 younf footballers who try to make it a Dortmund!

no i havent seen the movie. Did they make it?
anyway i have a cousin that lives in germany and says some players in jr. bundesliga are just bad.
but iam not exactly sure.
It depends of the clubs.
The big clubs get the best junior players the other the rest.

I consider Hannover and Köln "big" clubs. There sure are compared to clubs like Cottbus or Bielefeld for example.

If you live in Köln, maybe your are able to watch a Junioren-Bundesliga-match there? Could be the best way to decide.
