Everyone agrees that in the all-times ranking of South America the top 3 national teams are well-determined:
1st. Brazil
2nd. Argentina
3rd. Uruguay
In what position do you think Peru belongs to, historically?

Historically, Peru is a strong candidate in being all-time 4th.

Peru, Paraguay and Chile can all make legitimate claims to be #4.
Since this is a Peru forum, they get homeforum advantage and get my vote as #4.

I put fourth for Peru but I am biased. Im thinking its either Peru or Paraguay to have the claim for Fourth ranked spot.

Like the others I think that Paraguay, Chile, and Peru all could be taken into consideration for the 4th spot.

Yea, I think peru should be in 4th along with Paraguay and maybe Chile, but if we don't pick up our game that place could be easily taken away by some of the other teams.

Definitely US, thank god for the 70s and 80s or else we'd be another Ecuador or Colombia.

A way of measuring this is Copa Americas and WQC ... probably will compete with Paraguay for 4th.
