The lethal striking duo looks set to start today against Chelski in the Champions League. Pizarro looks certain to start. He got over his injury and practiced with no problem and looks set to start. Come on Claudio!!! LIVE TODAY ON ESPN2 at 2:30 PM ET

Cool, Magath also said if Pizarro starts Guerrero will come in 2nd. So Bayern have to win 2-0,3-1 to advance. 4-2 and they go extra time? Do I got it correct.

Well, the game is over and they didn't go through even though they won. Bayern had missed too many chances to score. At least both Guerrero and Pizarro scored. Pizarro missed a goal in the first half though, all they can do now is concentrate on the bundesliga. :(

Man, what a game! It's a shame Bayern didn't go through... but I guess Chelsea deserved it most.. they do have a better team.
Pizarro scored one and got an assist. Guerrero scored one also. But it was too little too late, even though Bayern won 3-2, CHelsea went through on aggregate score.

After the second Chelsea goal the fans started too leave and my and my friend left the restaurant we were having lunch at. I'm glad I missed the two goals in the last 10 minutes. It would've infuriated me further to have them get this close.
How did Guerrero score his goal?

How did Guerrero score his goal?
schweinsteiger had a powerful shot and guerrero anticipated the keeper and a defender to tap it in. He was there at the right moment at the right time.

You can't expect to eliminate Chelsea, and its defense, giving away 2 own goals.
Pretty disappointed with Bayern ... Ballack was M.I.A. thru out the 2 legs.

Ballack and Makaay in this 2nd leg. Makaay has some explaining to do... and I wish I can go to the Bayern boards and demand an explanation since they all adore Makaay and think of Pizarro and Guerrero as second string strikers... but then again I cant since they'll think i'm trolling.

That's KING Roy for you.
Yeah, I was surprised to find that Pizarro has a slightly higher goals per game average than Makaay, and if you consider that he gets subbed out much earlier/more often than Roy, it can be said that he's a more efficient striker.
Bayern fans won't hear of this however.

I think Pizarro played a good game against a top European side. Hopefully it will open some eyes around the contenant. My personal opinion, Pizarro is too good to be with Bayern anymore. They under-rate him and i think he can move to bigger clubs in better leagues. :)

Lord hear our prayer, but where should he go. I'm not sure I can picture Pizarro in another top club. But hey look at lucky crespo at ac milan, I'm sure Pizza would fit great there, lol. Wishful thinking.
