is not that much money.....in today's futbol world

1 to 5 million for the rights to playoff vs. top 2 teams in venalandia, the one mil goes to the federation, for player development and more....

the agent with the rights to the deal makes the money back with the usa games (laz and chicago or houston)

It might not be that much in the rest of the futbol world but when you consider how much CONCACAF paid the teams in the Champions league it is a lot of money. I believe there was no prize money for the teams in the Champions League.

Well, it took a third party to offer the money to the Venezuelan Federation to get the Mexican teams into the Libertadores. The FMF could have done it, CONCACAF could have done it, yet nobody actually ponied up the cash. Maybe the amounts are not comparatively large but nobody was lining up to pay them.

I think CONCACAF paid their Champion's League champ 100,000.

I agree with sidspaceman, CONCACAF has a lot of other things to worry about than this. How about TV deals for their Champions League ?
