The spot is between US and CR. How good is the CR team? This US U-17 is better than the last one that had Adu, Spector (Man. U., already play for US senior national team), Gaven (US senior national team) and Szetela. This team is NOT a traditional US team which is long on work rate but short on skills. Most of players in this team can dribble over few defenders. But the right midfielder Kirk (Galaxy) will miss the games due to a broken foot.

I agree, it'll be between US and the host CR, well this CR team has a couple of risingstars, but it is not as good as the last one we had, we played a friendly tournament with Peru, Ecuador and panama, and we finished 3rd, so i guess this is not a strong team.

Costa Rica wins over Cuba 3-0.
The standings so far:
W L T GF GA DIF PTS
CR 1 0 0 3 0 +3 3
USA 1 0 0 3 0 +3 3
CUB 0 1 0 0 3 -3 0
ES 0 1 0 0 3 -3 0
Thursdays games are vital to both USA and CR. Do not be surprised if this group is decided by goal differential. Only the top team from the group qualifies automatically. The second place teams from group A and B have a home-and-away playoff for the additional spot at the World Championships.

CR will beat whoever is 2nd in other group. I heard that CR has a giant and great center back in Watson. US had to use two big forwards--Gonzales at 6'5" and Subtic at 6'4" to contain him. This US team has better bench than before. In old time, if they missed three starters, they would not even have a chance.

Costa Rica should be thrown out of the tourney because of their racist fans.
1st it was the game against Mexico then the Saprissa fans acted like animals in the CCC game. Now this racist garbage.

Do you have another link to that new?
As i told yoy before this is the first thing i read about it, if that really happened, it is very bad, but i dont understand how you can make fun of black players, if half of your own team is black...?
