He needs to be disposed of. He is nowhere near the calibre of our current players, and in all honesty I think he's horrible.

His versatility will do us well and with a star studded team like ours we will need players who will be contented with coming off the bench or if needs be warm it for quite a while

To answer that question you need to know why he was bought.........
Basically anyone that follows Chelsea closely knows that Mourinho likes to have a squad of 24 players at his disposal (those 24 being made up of 3 GK, 8 defenders, 6 midfielders, 6 forwards and one utility man). This season, Geremi was used as the utility man, the player that was versatile, could fill in multiple positions but didn't expect much game time. Jiri Jarosik was brought in to replace Geremi in that role for next season (he was bought during this season earlier because of Parker's injury).
I voted yes, I think there is a role for him at Chelsea. He's not a world beater, but thats not his job, his job is to tie up a loose end while the real worldbeaters (the Chelsea first team) go out and win games for the club.

I agree with you & also believe he's one of those players who need time to blend with the team having joined mid-season. He could turn out to be a very effective player in the midfield.

Saw him on a few occasions, the most notable one was in the Carling Cup final. He looked solid without being creative when having the ball. He will get better as days go on, but dont think he will get a lot of games with Maka doing the job so well these days.
