We played our 'A'-lineup for the Saturday game against Chicago... will this impact our fitness?

I think that it probably will. Eventually the amount of games that they're playing will catch up to them.

Clearly, we play our best lineup for this match... the question is, what's our best lineup as of right now? It should be easy to say who's our starters for this game but it's not. Do you start Esky or Q1? Do you put in Guppy? Can you get Adu on the field as a starter somehow? And who plays defense?

clearly it impacted our game last night. I can only hope that flying in the day of the game into Mex City will help our guys as they play their 4th game in 12 days. to say the least I was disappointed with our lineup last night for a stinking point in league play. of course, I could be eating these words by the end of the season.

After last night, I don't know how we will play against Putas. That was a tough match against Chitcago, last night, and I wonder how much gas is left in the tank of our starters? They'll definitely be runing on fumes (if not totally empty) when its time to kick-off on Friday night vs the sCrew. Who was the ********ing moron at MLS-HQ who thought up that gem?

Puebla, one of the lower seeded clubs in the MFL is schooling Pumas. If they could only finish the score would be 3 or 4 to 0. And thats' thru the first 25 minutes.

I don't think anybody looked exhausted last night. Gassed? Yes. But they should be able to get into a midweek match. The fitness problem and questions will occur Friday night against the Crew. That's where I'd expect to see Guppy/Moreno/Gomez get a break.

As for playing Pumas, after the last two matches, I'd seriously think about starting Tino. Esky hasn't really shown too much, and maybe throwing a taller Tino might be enough to turn the tide. I'd also rather have Prideaux or Namoff start in place of Stokes, but if they're not healthy, hopfully Stokes' string of non-disasterous matches (now at 2) will continue.

I agree and if Pumas plays defense like they're currently playing against Puebla, then I think you have to give Freddy some significant minutes. His speed bothered them last Wednesday and should cause problems for them next Wednesday too. They're looking very vulnerable right now.

I think Nowak will definitely start Freddy on Wednesday.

I think Altitude will play a factor on wensday night
Pumas play in Mexico city... I think that altitude and being at home with a huge crowd (if the fans go) will make a difference.. I hope DCU can win but I see it a bit hard.. I'm being realistic not Negative.. I say pumas win wensday I hope I will be proven Wrong. There will be altitude but no hot burning sun or crazy day time heat...

I hope Adu gets more playing time and DC has to play agresive not just score 1 goal and defend it to the death.. go and score a goal and then keep up the pressure and add on 3 more...

I have a good feeling about this one. I had a bad feeling about the US going down to Azteca last month. Hopefully my precognition sensors are working. :D

As for playing Pumas, after the last two matches, I'd seriously think about starting Tino.

I'm sure if he acts on Wednesday in the same manner that was reported during today's reserve game, it will go over real well in Mexico.

I'd be worried about someone like Esky too, with his reckless tackles that he is known for. Considering he hasn't been producing lately, if the game is close at halftime and it doesn't look like Alecko is going to convert on goal, I would sub him out and look for someone else to get it done.

United has a chance in this game, but not if they are trying to maintain the score or come back with a man down.
