So I hopped on ticketmaster to buy last minute tickets and the game is sold out. Are there usually people around the stadium trying to sell tickets before the game?

Usually TM stops selling tickets a bit before the game, event, show. I doubt that this game is sold out, if it is then they will open up the upper deck I imagine.
