He was close though. I remember this one game against Columbus where he was on a break, some Cow defender literarly tore his jersey off, Thiago keeps going, but he misses. :p

Thiba in portuguese sounds somewhat similiar to Chiva in spanish, but this is a bit of a reach. More than likely it's just a nickname.

It's definitely a shame that he's gone, because I feel like he would be a perfect forward for United coming off the bench.

With his performance so far(2 goals) he may have been a good option to start as well as coming off the bench.

I was really unhappy to lose him in the draft and not see him get more of a chance with United.

If United gets compensation for Nelsen, I guess it could work out decently. For the time being though, having Martins could be huge for this team.
