Future friendlies in preparation for the Fifa Youth World Cup
18 of April - Panama vs Chile
20 of April - Panama vs Brasil
22 of April - Panama vs Colombia
All these games are played in Chile
At the end of April no dates yet Panama will play Argentina, Colombia, and Morroco, played in Panama City
all under-20 teams
I feel these are some good preparation games as all the teams involved are participating in the World Cup and theyll be able to measure strengths and weaknesses of the team and have a whole some time to work on any problems with the team.
Also for those not informed Panama is in group B with China, Turkey and Ukraine for the World Cup in Holland, their first game is vs Ukraine on the 11th of June 2005
Hopefully theyll do better this time around than in the last Cup and get into the second round. I see a bright future for the National Team as we have a lot of youth talent coming up.
In the future IŽll try and post the team lineups and results.

Brasil 3 - 0 Panama
Once again wasnt able to watch the game as it wasnt aired...
The coach came put totally defensive with one striker..
Newspaper I read said that disaster in the first half as all goals scored in the first half, .. but that in the second half with changes made to the squad Panama played completlley better and more competetive..
Media from Chile quoted that if Panama would have played that way from the start it would have been a much closer game.
Still no goals in 2 matches and 9 surrenderd..
Hope for a better result tomorrow against Colombia.
At least the kids are learning how to play away from Home..

rodallega (quindio) and Briceno (tolima) should be the front line
Toja el bogotano should be pushing balls for them as the creative midfielder
let us know the score and more

Results of the day
Colombia 0 - 0 Argentina
Panama 1 - 0 Morocco
First half
In a nut shell Colombia dominated the first half and Argentina is lucky they have that GK that had a few spectacular saves, not permitting Colombia to score. Argentina fouled a lot and never found their rythm.
Second half
Back anf forth, Can say that Argentina had more ball control but there were no real threats on both sides as the ball was maintained most of the time in the midfield.
Players of the game. Argentinian Goal Keeper (Bonilla??) and Rodallega..
Panama v Morocco
First half
Complete domination by Panama.. a lot of good individual plays and touching by them. many defensive errors by Morocco.. which did not end in any goals.. The goal scored was off a free kick.. a lot of hard fouls by Morroco
Second half
Morocco had more posession as Pânama dropped back but it was still back and forth.. a lot of fast counters by Panama. Panamanian keeper made 2 spectacular saves that prevented Morroco from scoring. Kind of boring.. the ref got trigger happy and started calling fouls every 20 seconds or so..
This game easily could have ended 4-2, 3-1 but both sides did not have great definition when it counted..
Players of the game. Once again dont remember name.. Moroccan player striker that plays on the left side(best player on the field in my opinion, from Panama.. hard to say, the two wingers played excellent, creating spaces and good individual runs. Im gonna cheat and go for the goal scorer Aguilar which also had an awesome game..
Saturday.. Argentina v Morocco
Panama v Colombia

Yea, like efer said, Toja (Santa Fe), Rodallega (Quindio), theres another defender from Quindio as well, Sebastian #10 (Quindi0), Radamel Falcao (River Plate) almost the complete u20 that won the title in colombia.

Sorry for the delay..
Results from Saturday
Argentina 0 - 0 Morocco
Panama 1 - 1 Colombia
First game was pretty boring... lots and lots of fouls.. hard tackling on both sides.. over 30 fouls in the first half, so you can imagine
Second game was also a lot of hard tackling and fouls.. more entertaingin in the first half where the game was about 50-50, both teams scoring in the first half.
Second half a lot more fouls. tempers flared and Colombia dominated more the ball possesion even when only playing with 10 men..
todays games
Colombia v Morocco
Panama v Argentina
Argentina and Morocco have yet to score a goal in this tournament..
Panama can clinch it with a win or a tie over Argentina..Colombia can win with a win and depending on the result of Panama and Argentina..
Argentina is in same situation with Colombia..the only team technically out is Morocco
Standings as follows
Panama 4 2gf 1ga +1
Colombia 2 1gf 1ga +0
Argentina 2 0gf 0ga +0
Morocco 1 0gf 0ga +0

First game
Colombia 0 - 0 Morocco
Wasnt able to watch the first half as I am sick and was bed-ridden most of the afternoon..
So what I was able to watch.. pretty good back and forth game, Colombia had more possesion overall, Since it rained hard today. the field was damp and wet and a lot of the players were slipping and falling..
Overall a disappointing tourny for both teams. Colombia getting 3 points overall with 3 ties and only 1 goal socred.. Morocco not able to score any goals and ending with 2 ties and a loss
Current score of the other game
Panama 0 - 1 Argentina.. Argies scoring in 26 seconds.. WOW.. guess they came to play, lol

Results of the day
Colombia 0 - 0 Morocco
Panama 1 - 3 Argentina
A clearly dominate Argentina.. that as not visibile in their 2 previous games.
They came ou early and scored 2 goals withing 15 minutes..they maintained more posession in the first half..Panama came out firing in the second half and was not able to score and kind of fizzed out by the discipline of the Arentinian players holding that defensive line..
clearly we did not measure up and have lots to go, the difference between skill and talent is noticable.. but anyways.. final standings
Argentina 5pts
Panama 4ts
Colombia 3pts
Morroco 2pts
heh.. nice little orderly chart.. lol

Im looking to get a ticket to go the U-20 Cup in Holland. Im just trying to work out the travel arrangements since lm going alone. lt would be good to see if Panama can do well, but Ukraine or China might be the hardest challenge!!!

Well good luck with getting the ticket, a little envious here, lol. I think we can do good, every game will be good, but Im sure that with the more experience we have we can generate a few points and maybe even pass to the second round, anything is better than last place which we earned last time.
