Would you please stop shaking this in our back...it hurts a little, thanks

PS : i don't want to sound harsh with our poor Lyonnais, they were the better team except in one aspect, the mental one. You've got to be ********ing decisive in a game like that. Play first degree, don't intend to do, do !!
Bravo to PSV for the commitment and the qualification but I must say they display an unpleasant spirit, I hope Milan won't fall in the trap and show them a trick or two. European football does not need this type of CL winner, sorry.

I see the frenchies are bitching and moaning over the ref already, but I really don't see why.....
IMO there were only 2 questionable decisions from Mr. Nielsen
1. Nilmar *might* have earned a penalty. Not too sure though, he's was very eager to go down and I'm not sure if there even was contact between him and Gomes
2. Diarra could've been sent off twice in the first half with a second yellow, although the 1st one was given too easy (kicking the ball away)
So, 2 arguably bad calls, one favoring each team, one disadvantaging each team. You lost, be a man about it and stop whining, there isn't a worldwide conspiracy against french football going on.....

Just watched the replay of the game and I have to say I am glad PSV advanced. After scoring that goal, the entire Lyon game plan was to kick Van Bommel. What a dirty team Lyon are. They dont deserve to advance. I dont care about PSV, except for Beasley, but I am glad Lyon did not make it through.

He didn't sent off Diarra, because he realized that the first one was too tough. No favour in that. But I have to admit I didn't find Nielsen that bad ...

If you had look any other Lyon game, you wouldn't say that. Btw, the entire Van Bommel plan was to talk to the referee all the time and try to make him show his yellow card to every Lyon player. (though he was excellent tonight I have to admit)

So if Juninho had scored a debatable PK, then I guess you would take that with aplomb and accept it then...
Come on, we all know that the oppostion sees the game differently - its called being biased - its whats football is all about.

PSV deserved to win, that I'm in agreement with.
As for the penalty call, we'll agree to disagree.

When Nilmar was denied that penalty I knew that if Lyon would loose they'd use that as an excuse. PSV was very lucky there. But I don't think it was a guaranteed penalty though.

I also think Lyon is the better team in every aspect except for the mental one, and I think that was visible over over the two legs. When Lyon scored I always felt PSV had a chance of getting back. They just radiate that. If I wasn't dutch I'd agree that PSV shouldn't win the cup being a relatively boring side to watch. Then again Chelsea and Milan aren't fantastically attractive either. Can't say anything about Liverpool as I've seen too little of them. Actually the only relatively attractive team left, Lyon, was eliminated today, sorry people...

Depends, if he had sent off Diarra AND given the penalty I would be quite annoyed, but I wouldn't put the blame solely on the ref.....
Come on, we all know that the oppostion sees the game differently - its called being biased - its whats football is all about.
I know....I'm not denying you your bias ;).....Just trying to be objective (as far as the role of the ref is concerned)

Lyon did not lose...Both team drew and PSv qualified for the next round through penalties...Amateur !

LMFAO
No, you and all those Lyon fans here have proven you shouldnt have a big mouth before a match if you aren't the better team. Because that is what happened this night, PSV is the better team after all. You can have all the individual class you like (like Madrid) but if you can't operate as a team in difficult matches, it's of no use.
Now YOU are acting all frustrated, but why?
You guys were telling everyone its gonna be a piece of cake and PSV are SH!T bla bla... I even heard some guys telling after the draw that Lyon fans were already guessing if they would play Inter or AC milan. That's just dumb arrogance and shows that it is the Lyon fans that know SH!T about the game. Now stfu and go to bed you lost and should be ashamed of your big fckin mouth, go wash it with some soap french dork!

Unless you hadn't noticed, we're in the French boards here...
you could have been satisfied with the qualification of your team, but no, you just had to act as the dumb arschloch you might also be on the other side of the screen. Sorry for your poor entourage, anyway I'm glad I don't have to bear your filthy breath connard !
PS : If you needed to post your turd somewhere, there are toilets, it's called WR. Due to you, it's stinking like hell around here !!

PSV wins fair & square even after you French Lyon were disappointed with facing a team that you thought were MUCH better than.
Lyon might have smashed Bremen but PSV is not a Bremen.
PS:What happend to Lyon's start studded midfield :D

It's just crazy, you decided to think that everybody in France were underrating PSV. I know we have to cope with our clichés but I'm just witnessing the downfall of any ability to think by yourself...Sad for people like you, really. Even more if you thought you were particularly brilliant in saying that
One hint, PSV eliminated Monaco and we knew it wouldn't be a piece of cake even if Lyon were slightly favourites before the first leg. And BTW, you're talking as if PSV thrashed OL by 4 goals. I'm sorry, but there's not a particle of credibility in your post. Many PSV fans must cleaning the crap out of their pants at the moment...

Nope, that's due to your own insecurity & prejudgemental mentality. All i said was that PSV beat Lyon fair & square...........full stop.
Stop being so defensive :D
And yes i know it's not all Lyon supporters who thought they could whip PSV's butt, but the Lyon coach said so himself that Lyon were a better side & technically superior,i bet he's back pedalling now :o

That's what managers do, bro. Relax. If it motivates his players through big talk then so be it.
As for the game, PSv deserved their win, but Lyon's offense was definitely sharper, more precise, and more threatening. They were razor edge. It's just that PSV played better as a unit than Lyon did. Lyon looked out of sorts at midfield.
