Costa Rica Is a crap team they can't be canada at all in the states for the gold cup! They are weak and have on class. The only person on the team that is good still looks like he doesn't want to be on the field. There game is slow and ugly and they have nothing! Canada Is not a great team but they have more heart then any tico team could ever have and they will win with heart and team work!

Feels good to have a positive Canadian troll :P.
Seriously though, Canada came through in the last GC and the WCQ were tight (1-0 in CR and 1-0 in Vancouver until Onstad dropped the ball and our remaining hopes - 1-3 the final).

There is no way that will happen. Maybe a tie....Yallop was an ok defender but as a coach canada will not make pass the first round. The defense under Yallop is weak. What happen to the defenders that brought the Gold Cup to Canada?

The defense wasn't all that good, but we had Forrest in nets, who brought us far. He stopped 2 penalties during the competition and made a bunch of game-saving saves. I'm still saying that Sutton is his rightful successor and he should be the #1 come the GC.
We had trouble bridging the cap between the old and the young in defense, but we're coming along with a few candidates now, like Hutch, Simpson and Klukowski. McKenna isn't our long-term CB general, IMO.

Under Guima Costa Rica will get better. Canada will have a hard way to go in the group that they are in. They know better than to take Cuba lightly. You already know who I think will come out on top when the US meets our Northen neighbors. LOL
I'm not saying that they CAN'T win. I'm just saying that it's going top be hard. Really hard. For Yallop's sake, they better do well. Or he may be gone.
How do we even really know that Darkstar is Canuck, anyways?
He might be a hater from someplace else that just has an axe to grind with the Ticos. He might be frontin', perpetratin a fraud...

Canada will suffer at the hands of Costa Rica. They are building a competitive side while we're headed.......?
Canada has struggles against Nothern Ireland and Portugal latley and that is not going to improve any time soon. Get,
some of the youth team players involved in this tourney, since we won't win it, lets get the younger players,
some playing experience at the full national team level.

Sutton? An A-league keeper as our #1....I hope your joking, there should be no A-League players on the national side, they are not good enough. Wake up and smell the coffee.
