Do you mean the MLS opener that was at 3:00 EST (DC vs. Chivas) or the Galaxatives vs. Cowsluvus match on FSC this evening?

amazingly the Chivas/DC game was preempted by the death of Pope. MLS gets no luck:)

They had they WHOLE DC/Chivas game on ESPN in Maryland.
Only 12 channels out of 60 were covering the Pope.
I'm not sorry I'm Canadian

Over the years I think DC United matches have pre-empted by the US invasion of Afghanistan, Ronald "I'm a really good actor" Regan's death and the death of Pope John Paul II. Luckily for us Yanks, they got it right (finally) the third time and moved the game from ABC to ESPN. Condolences to the Catholics and props to ABC/ESPN....

I watched it. It was actually not a half bad game. It's also always good to see Mexicans lose.

I like the sound of a Mexican based side in MLS... that's exactly what's needed, a bit of natural rivalry to give the games more spice.
Hopefully I might be able to catch this late night on channel five on thursday. They carried MLS matches last season. Anything of interest to watch out for if it is?

Bluto, how sweet are those new Chicago Fire jerseys? The one's that look like the City of Chicago flag? They are sweet. It's only their 3rd kit though. They should make it their home and away one it's so nice.

Hmmm, I thought a STD was accompanied by a least a hint of a memory of some excitement...

Ugh. MLS-haters. You can't support the USMNT and not support MLS.
