I just installed the patch and noticed a huge graphical error:
I'm not sure if this is true for all the teams, but the player-name lettering and numbers on the Earthquakes' jerseys, as well as the numbers on their shorts, are black on the home uniforms (they should be white) and white on the away uniforms (they should be black).
Also, the styling of the player-name lettering and numbers on the Earthquakes uniforms is weird.

thanks for the bug reports. the rosters are still not 100% complete (many missing drafted players) so it looks like there is going to be a 3.0 release this week. also included with that release will be final versions of all kits. Sorry to keep updating, i just want to make sure we have the most detailed patch possible.
Also this 3.0 version will be a full patch that you can apply without having to have any of the previous versions, and should also be smaller in size than the first 2.
Look for this sometime in the next week or so.

that is not a HUGE error, it sounds like a small oversight :p

If 3.0 is coming out this week, I'll wait on it (until saturday?) before releasing the PS2 version.
I'll gather photos from this weeks games to make the jerseys a little closer to the real ones, and will include the 1st goalkeeper kits for each team too.
Gutbomb - also please add 4 players to the Chicago Fire:
D- Leonard Griffin (started vs. Dallas)
M - Chris Rolfe (sub vs. Dallas - draft pick)
F - Chad Barrett (sub vs. Dallas - draft pick)
F - Lubos Reiter (new signing - will be announced Tuesday) from Sigma Olomouc, Czech league. He's in the game with the Slovakia national team.

i thought griffin was waived. wow. fire must be in trouble if they are starting him!
anyway all drafted players should be in the rosters when the next version is released. we don;t really know how to do the drafted players so i was thinking about just picking a random US player of the same position not associated with a MLS or overseas team. we'll then evaluate them sometime in the season (if they ever get any playing time) to make their stats more accurate.

As the person who is making all the kits, I'd say give me till more like Monday to do revisions for next weekends games when I can see team's and goalie's second kits in action. For those that are impatient, you can download them as I do them from my site: http://www.davidson.edu/personal/manaples/MLS/mls.htm
Also, if anyone can provide brief scouting reports on the rookies (weaknesses and strengths, players who are similar in style of play), it would be a HUGE help to getting them into the game quickly and accurately.

Sounds good. I agree - wait and see on the draft picks.
Clanton was waived, not Griffin. Griffin started because of a good preseason form and Caballero and Sanneh are both injured. The Fire had a 3 man backline vs. Dallas - that's not what they'd normally line up. Lubos Reiter will be with the Fire by their home opener in 2 weeks.

Hey Guys nice work!
The Galaxy text logo on their unis is now white.
Does anyone here own both the Xbox version and PC version? I'm tempted to try out the PC version since it's only $29.95. I already own the Xbox version, but I want to have more control over editing.

I own both versions and I like PC a little better; it's much easier to edit and has much higer res graphics. It was 29.95 well spent.

Well I got the PC version and it does look a lot better, I got the rumble two gamepad, and the game is very cool.
Unfortunately this patch causes my game to crash once I start the match. It will say "now loading" then it just shuts down.
I tried that 3d analizer program, and that stops it from shuting down, but it isn't playable, it's just a bunch of freaked out images.
After several hours of playing with it, I was able to load a couple of kits using kitserver, and graphic studio. I don't fully understand how these programs function (why does the pink need to be set to transparency?), but like I said I could load the kits at least, and the option file itself was never a problem.

Just wondering... Are rookies making significant contributions going to be included in this patch (ie. Parkhurst and Riley for NE?)

Yes, I have been working on getting the rookies into the patch. The current list includes the following rookies; Lopez, Jimenez, Freeman, Guzan, Barrett, Moor, Parkhurst, Stewart, Sealy, Ward, Watson, Enfield, Pore, Goldthwaite, John, Van Sicklen, Storey, Boswell, Simms, Rolfe, Ihemelu, Chisoni, Riley, Mediate, and Cameron.
It's been a little tricky seeing as they were not rated in FM2005, so I've kind of had to guess at their quality and attributes based on whatever scouting reports I could find (mostly from matchnight.com), but I figure it's better than nothing!
