i think it's a bold but dangerous move, moradito...with only a few games left for qualifying.

we're going through the same thing in peru with our brazilian coach, autori, but looks like he's gonna stick it out.

CR had to make this move so it's good they did it now with most of qualification still months away.

Next games are in about 2 months, we have played 3 of 10 matchdays, i think that the coach change has to be done NOW that we have time, now or never!

No, please, can't you keep Pinto until after you play the US?

Or take Steve Sampson back?

I've had CR pegged for that 4th spot, but maybe now they'll grab an automatic spot. We'll see...

its funny how us ticos think alike aint it, weren't we just talking about how Pinto had to go if they were to have any chance. Didn't expect the axe to fall so soon.

Is n't it possible that this present crop of Ticos just are not as talented as the past teams?

Just a question.

Guima, Sampson, Pinto Quima....looks like you guys are playing a game of musical coaches..just like my Trinidad.

??????

I don't think so, we still have most of the players of the last WCQ plus a lot of new young players that came from the olympic team
Guima went out of the nat'l team due to economically reasons, then Sampson and Pinto both came without success, if the new CR'n team with Guima continues losing i might change my opinion

Guima has magic, that's the only way I could put it; there's nothing wrong with hoping because, I don't mean to sound grim: there was no way CR could have managed at least a tie in seattle under Pinto
