So we all know by now that england will play US and Colombia at the end of may. What players do you all think will go and play in the states???

Any player desperate not to miss out on the boat for Germany next year, I should think.

Names that spring to mind include:

Terry
Hargreaves
The Enemy (Defoe)
Heskey?
Smith
Dyer
Sh!thead (Phil Neville)
Carragher
King
Johnson
James
Downing
Wright-Phillips
Joseph Cole
Wayne Stamford

These players will be fighting for places and all must be hungrier than a mothaphuka, yeah?

Not a bad list. I would like to go to either this game or the WC qualifier in Salt Lake, and knowing that at least some of England's top players would help that decision a lot. Right now it's friendly vs. qualifier and Chicago vs. Salt Lake. In other words, it's 1-1. If England bring a quality side, my anglophilia (and knowledge that Mormons are not exactly party animals) might just tip the balance.

its true that they would be trying to fight for their lives to get on to the world cup 06, but swp, defoe, and downing are not going to supplant becks, cole nor owen
