Got any advice or tips?

Best score book to use and why?

I would like to give it a try but want to take a test drive before buying a full book. So, does anyone have a digital file of a score sheet that I could get?

Thanks in advance.

that sounds way too hard.. how much do you keep track of?

I keep score at baseball games, mainly just so that i keep "in the game" but it is fun to look back at past sheets.

Doesn't really seem that much harder than keeping stats on a basketball game.

One sheet I looked at online listed the following items you track:

Shots/On Goal [both by number and charting on a field diagram]
Assists
Offsides
Fouls [though I don't know how you keep track of these and how you know who fouled always]
Cards
Saves [although catches and punches is missing]
Corner Kicks
Indirect Kicks
Free Kicks
Penalty Kicks
Scoring
Scoring Recap

And no one says you have to track all of that -- especially if its just for fun.
