I'll answer 'em for ya too

5. One of the team's worst, but no one really had a bad game. I blame him for the 2nd goal though.

thanks for the insight

btw
the argentinians blame vargas for the second goal
"En la última jugada del primer parcial, Ecuador dio vuelta la historia. Buena proyección de Ambrossi por izquierda, infortunado despeje de Vargas al medio, habilitación justa para Valencia, que con un toque suave pone el 2-1."
http://www.clarin.com/diario/2005/03/31/deportes/d-05603.htm

mind you they also blame the blooper(im asuming the mendoza f.up) on pizarro
"Tuvo más chances, con un cabezazo desviado de Guerrero y un blooper de Pizarro. Y Ecuador, ya sin apuro, festejó el empate."

how on earth do you mistake mendoza for pizarro?

Mathematicaly there's still a chance... but having tied to ecuador in Lima once again just proves to me that Peru is not ready. I'd rather see another team, like ecuador, make a fools out of themselves in the world cup... so i'd rather them go than Peru.

agreed, a team that cannot defeat ecuador at home doesn't deserve to be in a world cup.

it's time to stop fooling ourselves. ecuador is not a good team, if we were any good we would have defeated them easily but we didn't and therefore we are not good.

Looks like they are going to have to muder autori to get rid of him. He for one will not take Peru to any WorldCup. But who to give this task to?????

Could Mendoza be the worst player in Peru history? ALL BY HIMSELF!!!! ALL BY HIMSELF!!!! I know he is cojo, but jesus to not be able to just kick the ball in the net with his other leg?!!! Every player is cojo, every player uses one side better than the other, but a professional player has to know how to use both left and right in decisive moments. He didn't. With his dumbass smile and that fuking haircut?! what a waste of talent on mendoza. His version to Libero:

"Mi error fue que al sacar al arquero miro atrás y pierdo el equilibrio."

And that's what you call a fuking lie. He tried to kick the ball with his natural left when he could've easily done it with his right even if it was a sloppy kick with his right he would've gotten it in because it was so close and the goal was wide open. It was impossible to miss if he kicked it with his right. But he decided with his left. cojo motherfuker!

Mendoza will always be remembered for his stupid smile when he misses, his golden boots thinking he is the shiat and now for the biggest stupidity I have ever seen on a footballer. What a fuking miss. All by himself. Useless piece of crap. I still cannot get over it and cannot believe it. I hope Autuori never calls him up again. He deserves to get everything he is gonna get from the press and the people.

I can say this about mendoza, he has the power and/or speed to always get in the enemy's box, after that its schitt downhill. But in the Ukraine, this guy is scoring left and right, probably doing crazy ukranium bishes. They got nice woman there by the way.

I think the number one choice on everyone's mind is of course Freddy Ternero. He woulddo a decent job in the NT. He is one of Oblitas' apprentice and has proven to be a good coach. My list:

1. Ternero
2. Ternero
3. Ternero
4. Oblitas
5. Oblitas

:D

With Markarian and Franco Navarro maybe sneaking in the list.

we need a total renovation of the team

we need to list the players that shouldn't be allowed to play for the seleccion ever again.

my list of players that must realize they simply don't cut it are...

guadalupe
zegarra
soto
palacios
olcese

for the next wcq nor solano nor jayo can be used but they doing fine at the moment

I think we should aim for a colombian coach. I think whats his name hernan dario gomez or something would do a better job than autori. How have we done with colombian coaches, what was his name maturana i think?

we also need to restructure our league and kick out our dirigentes. our clubs need to stop signing third rate foreigners like mckenzie and barros schelotto while more talented younger players are kept on the bench. it's only in peru where an older player can play 10 bad games in a row and make countless of misteakes but still be in the starting eleven whereas a young player only needs to make one little mistake in a game and he is benched for the following months.

we also need a psychologist for the team. it's obvious we can't play under pressure. it's not the first time we make silly mistakes in our defence and miss open goal chances in the dying minutes of the game. our players succumbs under mental pressure as opposed to a team like ecuador who although they are a team with a very limited amount of talent has a mental toughness we totally lack

limited amount of talent?? you're crazy!
in the quito game, our Carlos Tenorio made the same mistake that your player made. but we got over it!
we ended in a draw, get over it!! you better start worrying about your next game and stop thinking of this one, we will do the same as we have Argentina next.

listen her...

first of all this thread is about our nt not yours so talk about ecuador in another thread. as said earlier i'm totally indifferent about the country ecuador, their national team, and the people living there. it's just another country in the world just like slovenia, zimbabwe, guam and samoa. i have never considered you as "brothers" or anything like that and i take as much interest in your country and national team as the other countries mentioned above

since ecuador unfortunately happens to lie close to us we happen to play in the same confederation and i have seen your team play several times. my opinion is that i have hardly seen any ecuadorian player that i would describe as a star or a great player, there is hardly any individual talent at all. i see much more individual talent in teams like paraguay, chile, colombia and uruguay than in ecuador. in ecuador i see a physically fit, mentally strong, well trained unit which achieves results by adapting a very unattractive way of playing football

this happens to be my opinion, it is as simple as that. you might think differently and you're welcome to do so cuz i don't give a rat's a$$ about your opinion anyways. sad to say you seem to be obsessed with what i think though

Exactly...

Ecuadorians please leave..

For the rest of the peruanos. We are 7th place. What do we have to do to get to that 5th spot and what are the chances of accomplishing that?

pretty slim!! see you when you cheer for us! :D
listen in peru we do not care about ecuador. i have yet to meet a peruvian who cheered for ecuador in wc2002. don't think for a moment that we consider you "brothers" or anything like that. i would feel insulted if any ecuadorian dared to call me hermano...

now stop rambling about ecuador in this thread cuz this is about the peruvian nt and ecuador is of no interest to us.
