often the starter is mounted under the engine, but above the transmission case.

My Acura Legend needs to die. In the past two years I've changes the Alt. twice, the starter twice, rebuilt the Automatic transmission, replaced the heater controls, and replaced the ECU. Plus I have still have a bad Upper Ball Joint (thus having to replace the whole control arm) a broken coil spring on the opposite corner, serious PS problems, and who knows whatelse? I just keep praying for someone to hit me so I can get some insurance $$$ for it.
