That makes me laugh every time. I will always have a warm spot in my heart for those Enerex commercials.

I like the guy's reaction to the babe's gush over "stamina" -- a textbook s**t-eating grin if ever there was.

Yes, FSW regularly shows Bundesliga matches (usually two a week, one on Saturday and one on Sunday).

I didn't notice, was there a live webcast or did you have to settle for the match summaries to learn that "Fritz essayed the Tarrasch Defense against Kramnik's 1.d4."?

You know, FSW stands for
Fox
Sports
WORLD.

not

For
Soccer
Weenies.

Some of you sound more provincial than the worst NASCAR fan.

It's just Bigsoccergeek.com . ;)

HELL YEAH! I like this one. For those who don't know by now, the CFL is ********ing awesome. If FSW could get the games that are on TSN, I'd switch to satelite immediately. But since I have the Sunshine Network at work, I don't need a dish. For now, I don't really care about UEFA, so I'll live with the occassional CL match on ESPN.

I have no recollection of what I did before I got FoxSportsWorld.

Well, when the cable system upgraded to digital, the sports tier moved with it and the prices got jacked up. I lived without it (very regretfully, I must add), but I've done stuff like clean the deck and host 2 parties since I haven't had it. However, last weekend I was dying for it and I think I'm ready to sign up again. It sucks with this digital business, because I'll have to pay another 11 bucks a month to be able to watch on either of the two tvs (important to me). I have to upgrade the other set to digital - a major ripoff point of the digital business.

I've got digital. Still no FSW, 'cuz Comcast sux. Can't get a dish, as I've got a forest on the south side of my house.

Sucks to be me.

Oh, and I can watch the CFL every Sunday on CBC if I want. It's just not the same since the Ottawa franchise was renamed. I used to love those thrilling Roughriders-Rough Riders battles.

Thank god for FSW!! It's far and away my favorite channel on digital cable (slightly ahead of OLN during their coverage of the major cycling Tours.)
Coverage of the English, Spanish, German, Argentine and Brazilian leagues is tops but Scottish Premier has got to go. The Glasgow teams take all the fun out of it. Never a surprise. At least bring back the Dutch league.
As for the other sports>
Aussie Rules rules.
Cricket is worse than baseball.
The CFL blows (but their ads are excellent!!)
Rugby is awesome but I would like to see more Union
That's all.

I'm not even sure where my cable remote is. I think FSW has been on straight for a couple months now

LMAO! :p

I'm glad I'm not the only person who thinks that is the funniest line in TV commercials today.

I have to say the two new programs that I enjoy are the Fox Sports World Report and the Argentinian League highlight show. Hell, even that Argentine guitarist tune is starting to sound catchy.

One of the other things that I get a kick out of is the Celtic broadcasts that have the huge Celtic banner at the top of the screen and the two extras from Braveheart doing the radioesque commentary in a language that might possibly be english. Sure, its always Celtic kicking the bejeezus out of some team fresh out of the Sunday Rec league, but its entertaining as hell trying to guess what the commentator just said. :)

Well, I just filled out the survey. There is one problem -- they need to have a "Never" option under frequency of watching Rugby.

Under comments, I put "Take Rubgy, Cricket, Aussie Rules....NOOOOOOOO!!!! Don't mess with my Aussie Rules. Bring me more!!! Irish footy also. You can have Hurling. Better yet put actual tackling into Gaelic Footy. Also more highlight packages fo more leagues. Less repeats of 2 hour games would be good. The CFL commercials are great also.

I would amend that by saying ALL UNION, NO LEAGUE . . . Rugby League sucks.

My wife hates me because FSW is now the de facto default channel in our house. Best channel on TV, baby . . .

I like Union as well.

FSW is THE ONLY REASON Time Warner gets so much money from me! If they put it on analog cable I'd go back to that in a heartbeat.

I used to have FSW via DirecTV, but for a few reasons (involving moving and a couple other things), I've had to go the digital route, and my cable provider is Comcast. That means I don't get FSW, but I do get FSW Espanol, and I love it! I don't get rugby or cricket, or the CFL or Gaelic Football, but I do still get English, Argentinian and Brazilian matches, plus much of the Copa Sudamerica, as well as some Mexican matches. Oh yeah, how can I forget Friday night El Salvadorian soccer! To be honest, I don't miss the Bundesliga or Scottish (a local college station shows one SPL match every Saturday night!), but I'm still not getting La Liga. I figured that'd be a shoe-in on FSWE, but perhaps ESPN International owns the Spanish rights?

But one thing many of you guys might find funny, FSWE is showing ALL of the baseball Championship Series' and the World Series (Beisbol de las Grandes Ligas - Serie Mundial). I'm not watching (and not real happy that it's on every day), but realize it's only for a few weeks, and also have caught some Mexican Beisbol. The game's the same wherever it's played, and I like the Spanish announcers much better than all the US baseball announcers except Joe Morgan.

And I've learned some Spanish, too!

I'm hoping any success will eventually land FSW English on Comcast's lineup, but not counting on it.

I like the CFL, better than watching the sorry Redskins every week.

I will be happy when the CFL's season ends. Maybe FSW will show a Saturday match from Spain.

Not to be picky, but YOU MUST DIE!

:-)

There's enough on the channel for everybody - you can tolerate me seeing Rangers play Dundee United at 11 p.m. EST on Tuesdays.

the best thing about the CFL (other of course, than the "rouge") is the commercials. How does the one go?

"Saskatchewan? SUCKskatchewan is more like it!!!"

Love it. Almost as good as "My man was impotent until he started taking these sex pills and now I can't get his friggin paws off of me. I don't need this kind of attention at my age." (maybe I dreamt that commercial, not sure).

I get bummed out every morning when the info-mercial before SkySportsNews (at 6am CST) isn't "Girls Gone Wild." I never get tired of that one.

That's from a Saturday Night Live spoof commercial. Sarcastic look on elderly lady's face: "THANKS Viagra!" just before her elderly husband begins dry-humping her!

Yeah, the Ener-X commercials are WAY better than the Christian CDs... "Lord, I lift your name on high...." That shite used to run through my head day and night!
