Why BigSoccer?

Why is it that everyone has chosen to use the BigSoccer boards to talk about HatTrick? HatTrick deserves it's own board, right?

Please, at least take a look at the site. Don't make the decision to sign up because there is no activity, rather, why not be the first and help make the boards active?


There are forums there for all our needs, only thing those boards need now are some active members. Don't mind the template yet as I'm still working on getting one that looks a little more presentable...Hope to see you there...

And given it was your first post that meant you didn't register your club - so that says you have no intention to stay on this board - only to harvest members over to your board.

Why BigSoccer?
Why not? WE were already here discussing RL Nats team matches, refereeing, coaching, our glory days, the UEFA cup, etc.... Some of us found Hattrick and liked it. Instead of becoming a member of yet another board (and trying to remember another set of passwords and user ids), we decided to talk about Hattrick with our friends in THIS community. That's why.

We like it here. We may or may not like it there (your place). Some of us won't see that big of an improvement that would warrant us taking our HT discussions elsewhere.

Could this 'HT forum' be improved? Definitely. But we are not here because this passes muster as the best HT offsite forum (it just might be). We are here because we came here to discuss soccer first. Hattrick was a nice addition.

I'm in three different communities that have a subgroup that's into Hattrick, with a corresponding forum or thread to talk about it.

bigsoccer is good because it has everything. i can go talk to everyone here about hattrick and then go over to the metros forum and talk about them. its like a big mall and having a hattrick forum here has gotten so many people to join.

The first reason answers your question perfectly, we are on bigsoccer for different reasons. Me personally, I came to bigsoccer because of the Wizards forum, then I found what was at the time, the single hattrick thread (ahhh the memories of that.;))

And Craig's second reason is also valid, hattrick already has it's own forum, it's called the conferences, use it.

I believe that our single sub-forum here is extremely well organized. We have threads for matches, help, youth pulls, training, transfers, and everything else that could be needed. I think that this forum has a LOT of organization. I think if we started to break this section into more subforms, it would become increbily complicated. This is the best kind of organization, everything is in one place, you don't have to go clicking 3 different folders to find the right subforum. I'll stick with bigsoccer thank you.

Kuhnscoot has it right. We are extremely well organized. If perhaps you had introduced this in a different way as opposed to attacking our home, we might have been receptive. More to the point, there is an actual Hattrick GM here. Can't really top that. :D
