Robinson - impossible to rate as he didn't have anything to do
Neville - 6 - didn't do anything wrong, got forward well.
A Cole - 6 - see Gary Neville
Ferdinand - 6 - seldom troubled
Terry - 7 - used the ball well and defended well
Gerrard - 5 - the game seemed to pass him by
Lampard - 7 - strong and steady
Beckham - 4 - constantly out of position
J Cole - 8 - seemed to play a bit within himself but generally threatened whenever he got the ball.
Rooney - 8 - like Cole was always a threat.
Owen - 7 - missed a couple of sitters but his movement up front was excellent.
Dyer - 7 - should be starting on the right of midfield
Hargreaves - 6 - got caught in possession a few times but otherwise was solid
Defoe - 6 - no chances to do anything of note

Robinson - 6 He stood there.
Neville - 7 Good game, had to cover the whole flank for Becks
Terry - 7 Solid, good presense in the opposite box at set pieces.
Ferdinand -7 No problems at the back
A Cole - 7 Good game
Beckham - 6 Nice tackling, and couple of great passes, but waaaay too much time in the center of the midfield, needs to remember abt his main job.
Lampard - 7 Not particularly impressive, but he did score
Gerrard - 6 Not really involved in the game, very quiet.
J Cole - 8 Man of the match. Looks like the problem of the left flank is solved.
Owen - 7 Wasted a couple of chances, but did score.
Rooney - 8 Very good play, as usual.
Dyer - 7 Nice contribution in limited time.

So true
They do the same with Zidane by putting him of the left. I can't see why Real doesn't put Beckham and Figo on the wings, with Zidane in the middle.

For what it's worth:
Robbo 4 - for turning up!
Neville 6 - adequate.
Rio - 6 - doesn't look comfortable alongside JT as he tries to slow it down all the time, while JT is all action, trying to get it forward!
JT - 8 - impressive.
Cole A - 6 - adequate.
Becky - 6 - fading star, from a team of fading stars.
Stevie - 6 - not up for it.
Superfrank - 7 - always looks good when we're pressing forward.
Cole J - 8 - better all round performance but not the stuff of legends as some are suggesting!
Looney - 8 - no-one tries harder.
Owen - 6 - still looks a bit stale.
Dyer - 7 - livened things up a bit.
Hargreaves - 1 - useless Canadian titwank.
Defoe - 5 - no time to impress.
