Since Seattle-MLS news lately consists of nothing more than Don Garber saying "And in 2007, Toronto....and among Seattle...etc....etc..."

Why not take the time to visit the Emerald City via this spiffy virtual reality site!
It's pretty here. And we like soccer. ;)

The Happy Face first appeared in Seattle.

Although Seattle ad man David Stern has long been given credit in the Emerald City for creating the Happy Face (aka Smiley Face) in 1967 for a local savings and loan, this is not the case.

The Happy/Smiley Face was created by ad man Harvey R. Ball in Worcester, Massachusetts in 1963. It was created on behalf of the State Mutual Life assurance Companies of America.

It's one thing to create something...quite another to bring it to fame! :)

Please email that site and get this one off the Seattle list! It was one I am not very proud of anyway!
