Im from england and somebody told me about this forum and its really amazing how many replies are posted and most of all im surprised that there are americans who like footy. its pretty good to know other people support arsenal lol. were i live im like an outcast because im a gooner but i cant help it. anyway to get the point i really hope we win the f.a cup against manchester united...AGAIN. if we did win the f.a cup it would mean we've something in topflight football since 2001! and its also almost 2 seasons since man utd lifted the premiership title :D . i also have a few doubts about vieira, dont get me wrong he is one of the most skillfull footballers ive seen in real live action, commenting on the 4-1 away victory against middlesbrough early last season ago. something tells me he might leave this season if he did i hope we get gerrard  or maybe king . who agress? who also thinks that our under 21 team might win the champions league, if wenger manages to turn ashely cole into an even better left winger than ryan giggs ;) .

welcome!!! :D

it is really suprising when you find out how many yanks love footy - and guess what, even some of the man utd supportng yanks aint too bad either :D

i see your point about the youth and the CL but they lack experience!

stick around man, this is a cool place

ditto, literally just joined bout half an hour ago.

Regarding the F.A cup, i think its set up to be a classic, not totally sure whether Manure will be able to get past Newcastle though.

Lots of people are saying that reyes and vieira may well be on the way to real in the summer, with owen and beckham coming back the other way. Personally i would like owen to join, not too sure on Beckham though. i'd angle for walter samuel instead. Campbell - Samuel as a central defensive partnership would be phenomenal!

thanks mix and tweed. yes they do lack experience but to be honest they have a more dog eat dog attitude than the current line up, nothing against the team we have now but the youngsters seem to want it more. we've had ;

The Tony Adams era
The Invincibles era, still to buy that dvd :P
This season has been a revelation of our young talent and hopefully another classic f.a cup final were we should win.
Next season - champions league, it has to happen :)

and on that note i would rather have samuel than beckham. and i would replace reyes with owen any day but lets not forget. I bet Juve are kicking themselves for selling henry after a crap season he had in italy and inter for flogging of vieira after a bad spell. so i guess the best of reyes is yet to come.

the only club i see smiling all the way to the bank has been Marseille after they're release of drogba for 24mil to chelsea, hes only scored 9 in the league. for 24mil i expect a sub standard of 15 goals.

9 in the prem, 16 in all comps. cost £28m but will probably end out being a good buy cos he's so young

Welcome, neophytes. NOW DRINK UNTIL I SAY STOP.....sorry flashback to frat days...

a little piece of advice...."before you take another step, don't blame it on yourself; because if you lay it on your brother when he's sleeping, wake up in the morning he'll be gone..."

rooney is way overrated and a goal poacher. kezman they thought he would do well cos he was top scorer in the dutch league. what a joke comparing that to the premiership im pretty sure there were people saying drogba will be better than henry :o the only person i can compare henry to is ronaldhino. van persie will be better than rooney in the long run. he has the skill rooney doesn't. all the dutch players are really skillful, bergkamp had to play in right back position for ajax before he moved to arsenal. the training camps in holland make the players play different positions which is why robben knows his way around the left. mind he'd have a pretty bad day against ashely cole and clichy.

The way he's going, I'd be Rooney is arrested before he scores 20 goals in a league season.

Never heard that one before. ;)

Don't mind us United fans who pass through when our forum gets less active. Always looking for a good chat and in truth most of the Arsenal fans here are class, you'll enjoy it.
