Even though the monkey's heed has been given the sack, that still shouldn't prevent us from referring the Wearsiders as this bunch:

They have such short memories. I hope they get some talentless waster like 'O leary to take them back dowm to the 1st division again - they deserve everything they get fopr the way they have treated a genuinely committed manager

Disgraceful.

Toony,

I have mentioned exactly that point - about the short memories - in other threads.

I just hope the chimp doesn't sell his shares in the club, just so he sticks it to them.

I dunno about you fellows, but I've had "Cheer up Peter Reid" in my head for two days straight now. That and a nasty hangover from all the pints of Broon that I toasted in favor of the chief chimp's departure.

What lucky stiff winds up there next? Sure would be fun to taunt a George Graham side down to the Nationwide.

George Graham is no fool & I dsont think he would take on Sunderland...except for serious money - I have it on good authority that he is in the hot seat for West Ham - assuming Glenn Roeder gets pushed in the coming weeks

My hope is that Mick McCarthy will dump the Republic and move to Weirdside.

Given his man mismanagement skills and the fact that he plays Damon Duff out of position to accommodate Kevin Kilbane, the humorous possibilities are endless.
