yea, it seems he going for a year loan period to Dept. Cali, as they lost a striker who left for Korea, the weird part is that other websites were reporting that he was sold already to a group of English investors, but I guess that wasn't true. The deal seems to have been made so that Quindío (Hugo's former club) could get some players from Dept. Cali in exchange for him.

Ángel (Rodallega's owner) is very weird, no one in Quindío likes him, he owns a soccer school in Cali (named Boca Jrs.) they play in division C, its a forming school, and Ángel is using Quindío to basically advertise his players and sell them, meanwhile the club is on the verge of relagation.......from this school Edixon Perea (who seems to be on his was to France, who also belong to Ángel) became a goal scorer at this club.

We'll see what happens, the condition of Hugo's loan is for a year, unless he gets an offer from outside Colombia, at which time he may leave the club.

I guess that it might had happen since the agreement was that Rodallega would stay in Cali until someone else purchase him from Europe.

that's what's weird, in Armenia they say that Ángel sold him for quite a bit of cash, and even promised Quindío 10% of the price, but now hes on loan to Cali, maybe Udinese did buy him, but are going to let him stay in Colombia one more year? gain more experience with a bigger club (Dept. Cali)? could that be it?

there have been rumors that real madrid wants him, inter milan, etc etc the list goes on.

te fact is that Deportivo Cali is going to squeeze as much money out of that deal as possible so they can re enforce their team for the up comming Copa Libertadores and Colombian Apertura. im certain rodallega will end up in one of the main leagues like seria a or la liga

You think? I was completely dissapointed by his performance in Holland. Falcao and Renteria looked dramatically better, and Rodallega just looked like the bully that bosses everyone around.

Pibe has said earlier today that he's been playing well at Cali, and I hope he does well, but I think he'll have to work it out in a secondary European league or a bottom rung team in one of the big ones first.

its possible. who knows. the other thing is that rodallega has been saying for a very long time that he wants to go to a big club like barcelona or something, he is quite cocky, and wants to go to a big league to make a name for him self i think. so if someone in italy or spain match the 1.5m then rodallega would go to them.
