I expect a positive result for my country... We are taking our best players to San Jose and they fully understand the importance of this match taking into consideration that the next game will be against the mexicans.

CR has suffered a series of unfortunate events and that is also playing in favor of Panama... I am routing for a 1 - 0 upset... Go Panama!

Well I had a nice little dream the other night ending in a 2-0 win for Panama over Costa Rica.. but nonetheless that was dream. well see whats up this weekend.. but I must think that if there was any game Pan would come out on top in CR would be this one.. empty stadium.. its like a must win.

I believe the last thing that I read is that he can travel with the team but I cant confirm that.. Ill look into it see if I can find a possible lineup..

Yeap, El Pistolero will make the trip... He will be traveling on friday and the rest of the team will be in Ticolandia this thursday.

The goverment let him play for the national team but he can not sign with any pro club right now.

With or without a supporting home field, CR has a better team.

2-1 or 3-1 for CR...

but who knows???

Vamos Panas! This is a golden chance to take a win on the road, with no crowd to play against. Maybe CR will be a little demoralized...

panama has to take advantage of this id say its the easiest road game just because of no crowd..as a guatemala fan i hope they tie

si, si, SI..... A home crowd makes a big difference. We'll see if it is a big component of CR's game or not. We'll also see if Panama is a pretender or a contender. What bigger opportunity can a visiting country be given?

I know that the crowd does make a difference, but the lack of crowd might cause a positive difference for CR in Saturdays game, let me explain you why...
CR is in a win-or-win situation, we must win, no matter what, So everybody here is expecting quick goals and at least a 3 goal difference
Can you imagine how preassured would the players be if we end the first half with a 0-0, or even with a losing score. The whole crowd will be putting negative preassure in our own players.
well maybe thats the small positive side of this negative issue.....I still believe in my team, vamos ticos!

I am very positive, Garces has the law permission to travel, he has told the papers that he wants to show whats he's made of, so I am expecting an agresive(dont get me wrong) Garces in the field, my only concern is the goalkeeper, Donaldo Gonzales, # 1 in the team will not travel to costa rica due to a problem or illness in his muscles. Penedo, the keeper that started against Jamaica in our away victory, will be the starter on saturday, I say it will be a tie 1-1.

Not sure about this... The ticos will feel the preassure all the game and it will become a bigger problem if the ticos don't get an early goal.

Everyone says that Panama is going to lose, so we don't have to feel any preassure, if the ticos lose some heads could roll...
