I hope they don't get relegated. They deserve it? Sounds like the words of a supporter of another abstiegskandidat. I believe they have hit the most posts this year and have also had quite a few normal goals not given. So i don't think its too fair to say they deserve it. They did play fairly well today, not as well as the scoreline would suggest, but nonetheless well.

I hope Mainz wins tomorrow, so that they can stay in the 1. Liga...
...among other reasons....

it's just that i totally hate peter neururer.
i just can't stand that guy.how he cried about all the decisions by refs against, them, WTF.That's Football.
he's a loser, he might have success for a season or two, but not over a longer term.
and btw, we won't be relegated:p offense rules, defense sucks, overall it's balanced, it will be an infight between mainz, rostock and bochum.
all teams above have too much class in most departments, IMO.

Bochum does deserve it, if only for their stupid fans who were all like "uuuh we're the new #1 in the ruhrarea, we're so much better than schalke and dortmund..." last season. Welcome back to reality, they're a nobody and they realized it the hard way... same thing gonna happen to Mainz sooner or later, just as it happened to so many others before... Bragging without anything to back it up just doesnt pay out... :D
I like Bochum and it's fans and the atmo in the Ruhrstadion. At least a good number of Bochumers support their local team than running to Schalke or Dortmund like the inhabitants of all the other cities in the Ruhr-Area because it's cooler.
Neururer is liked by his players, he admits his mistakes and is a nice character. I want them to stay in the league.

gotta admitt their stadium is pretty cool. one of the best away-sections ive seen so far... dont even know why, its just a nice little stadium... plus their introsong is unbeatable (Grönemeyer - Bochum) Dang, I wish we'd have such a cool song instead of that stupid "footballs coming home"-blend we have, nobody ever sings along anyways... :(
still i think they were pretty redicolous last season, nothing against celebrating a great success, but i just hate that "were the number 1"-crap when youre clearly not...
maybe its only cos im so fvucked up by mainz this season who are even worse... :D but they'll face the same reality next season...

Mainz's fans enjoy themselves at every game, despite the fact that up to like last week they had a horrible home AND away record. There's nothing wrong with that. They're happy that they've made it to the 1. Bundesliga for the first time. If there's one relegation candidate I want to stay up, it's Mainz.

yeah sure, you prolly know a lot of them right?!
its just getting on my nerves that up to like 5 years ago mainz had like less than 5000 fans at their home games and now suddenly everybody is a "mainzfan"...
if thats what you consider being a fan than thats allright, i just want to see how many of them are still there 5 years from now when they are back in nomansland... my respect to all of them who are still there then, but i higly doubt that thats gonna be too high of a percentage...
