Those look like great games, have to show some of mine on here.
The Champs first leg against Bremen looks good.
Cisse is great on football manager and so are people like Adriano,Bojinov and Robinho, but in real life they do not live up to expectations.

Cisse ripped me to shreds in that CL game. Naldo, who was my best defender and therefore marking him, got sent off in the second half so I had to put 33 year old Baumann at CB, which is not his best position at all. Cisse scored a hat-trick, but we Klose came off the bench and saved our rears. On the away leg, all we needed was a draw, but I foolishly decided to use a 3-4-3 formation to go for a win, and we lost 4-2 I think. If Naldo wasn't suspended we might have done better. I've just been really unlucky in the CL on FM. Injuries, suspensions, bad finishing, etc. The furthest I've gotten in the CL is quarterfinals with Roma. Won UEFA cup though in my first full season there.

its a tough league, because i had took over other clubs after this madrid career because it was lost and i won the Premier league with Norwich and built up a team over a few years containing the likes of, Ronaldo, Riquelme, Figo, Casillas, Woodgate, Nesta, etc, but with such top players i continued for a lot of seasons, and you just cannot win the big cup.I feel that you have a better chance with a bigger name team like Arsenal or Milan.

I was so distrought when Adriano decided to retire, he was 36 but still played excellently, which was the same for beckham on FM
Do you find that when you ask a player to re-consider retirement, they always continue to retire anyway-i find this very annoying.

I've never asked a player to reconsider.

So how can I get my assistant to handle training on WWSM 2009?
Training is the one place where I don't have a clue what I'm doing.

are you able to offer a player to a specific club? I know that you can offer to every club in the game but if you want to offer a player on loan or for transfer to a specific club, how do you go about doing this? Thanks in advance.

You can only offer a player on loan to your feeder clubs only.

Training is the one place where I don't have a clue what I'm doing.
It is best to set position specific training and in some cases individual. For example, if I have a player with high technical and mental attributes but low physical (ex. Joao Moutinho) then I will set his strength and aerobic training higher.
I have training programs outlined for Forwards (Strikers, A Mids), Center Mids, D Mids, Wingbacks and Center Backs in addition to the standard Goalkeeper.

I started a new game in FM2009 using this tactic from a dude...and i've won all 15 games so far with Benfica.
Buying Srna and Salihamidzic added the so much needed depth and quality in the defensive wings. So, right now this team is really impressive when in full strenght.

I also modified someone else's tactic to a more high-presing tactic in my FM game and it has worked well, winning the league and CLtse with Liverpool in the first season. Luckily I beat Barca in the knockout round of the CL after drawing 1-1 at home and winning 1-0 away with a lucky Benayoun late goal. Also I was lucky that Chelsea and Man Utd lost in the quarters of the CL, leaving Roma vs Arsenal and Atletico Madrid vs Liverpool (me) as the match-ups. Beat Atletico 6-2 away from home and lost 3-2 at home to advance to the final against Roma in Rome.
I actually think im the best at transfers ever...my record in my current FM game...getting Busquets for free and Walcott for 5 mil is below. Also getting 19 million pounds from Degen, Voronin, El Zhar, Leto and Plessis was handy. My next
Currently won the league and CL in the first season...won the league on the final matchay against Man Utd with a 2-1 win. Equal on 89 points with the Mancs and had to win, due to 10+ inferior goal difference to the Mancs to win the league. Stevie G scored a pen in the 80th minute to seal the win...3 days later, 3-0 over Roma in the CL final in extra time. What a sweet ending to the season despite having Gerrard out for 3 months with a torn calf (making less than 30 appearances) and Torres only making 38 appearances due to many niggling injuries.
In (£12 mil)
Walcott - Arsenal (£5 mil, January 2009)
Busquets - Barcelona (free, July 2009)
Poloskei - MTK (£18k, July 2009)
Lehmann (not the ex-Arsenal GK) - Stuttgart (£1.2 mil, July 2009)
Otigba - Heerenveen (£2.8 mil, July 2009)
Lucchini - Palmeiras (£3 mil, future transfer, July 2012)
Out (£20.8 mil)
Voronin - Bayern (£4 mil, July 2009)
El Zhar - Standard Liege (£3 mil, July 2009)
Leto - Portsmouth (£4 mil, July 2009)
Martin - Nottingham Forest (£600k, July 2009)
Itandje - Roma (£1 mil, July 2009)
Degen - Fulham (£5 mil, July 2009)
Brouwer - Huddersfield (£85k, July 2009)
Crowther - Bury (£60k, July 2009)
Flynn - Barnet (£50k, July 2009)
Plessis - Hull (£3 mil, July 2009)

*sigh* I wish people would test their tactics in multiple leagues before posting them to the Internet claiming that they work wonders. I've seen way too many tactics that do perfectly well against the orthodox 442's that you see in the Premier League but will get you absolutely slaughtered in the Serie A.

I'm in my 4th season i've been wrecked with injuries.
The training schedule is suitable for all players and in the Editor, 90% of my players have less or equal than 7 in "Injury Proneness".
In my last match I lost 4 first team players by over a month!
It's hard to enjoy the game this way...is anyone facing the same issue?
I have the last patch btw...

I have the last patch as well, playing as Liverpool, and the only serious injury trouble I had in my first season was Gerrard out for 3 months with a calf tear and Torres had a few niggling injuries. Apart from that, most of my team was ok.
I did have one period when Kuyt, Torres, Gerrard and Riera were all injured, but that was only for 1 or 2 matches. In my 2nd season so far to November 2009, I have had almost no injury worries. The worst being the latest 3 week injury to Gerrard and the only other injury of note was Xabi Alonso being out for 4 weeks. Apart from those, Ive had a good run (touch wood).

So where can I get the best training schedules.
I'm killer when I can just take over a team like Boca or Celtic and buy all of the best players in a nation. But I'm not so good when I need to "train up" the kids.

Go to eithier thedugout.tv or sortitoutsi.net
Personally, I reccomend DarkStarr's Training schedule for both Senior and Youth Teams:
