Well not good at all. I would have taken Bayern or Liverpool instead.

Most Lyon fans already think they are in the Semis and are talking more about Milan vs Inter :p

The entire Dutch media wrote off PSV at the start of the season as well, that's all I've got to say about it.

Lyon is are the biggest favoriets to go to the semi acording to the bookies. I think Lyon is better but psv is a little bit underrated.

This is the best possible draw Lyon could have gotten. Yes even better than Bayren or Liverpool. Most Americans will be supporting PSV because of Demarcus Beasley. I might be the only American who's pulling for Lyon is this one but then again most Americans arent into French teams anyway.

Do they?
No they don't
You can check for yourself at OL's own website http://olweb.fr/fr/index.html
and forum http://olweb.fr/forum/
It's a tough game, everybody knows this. None of the teams
left in the competition would make for an easy game, that's
obvious to everybody ("Duh!" comes to mind).
Some people are happy with the draw (and I'm sure you'd find
people "happy with the draw" amongst PSV's fans as well), some
are not. The "usual", really.

Lyon apparently suffer with tight defences, they'd rather have an open play. That's why I would have prefered Liverpool or Bayern. Anyway,if they want to progress in this competition and in general they have to be able to break down those teams.
The main drawback, this tie might be boring but again I can be all wrong (if people only wanted to be right, they wouldn't post here...) !! :o

Sums up what I think of all this.

Bring it on !
but the french never take the opposition lightly ... never ... no way OL supporters think it's in the bag ... fishy has done his research on the OL forums and he's always right.

Et oui, ça m'arrive de dormir dans la mesure où ça m'arrive pas d'avoir à me lever en ce moment :D

I think Lyon are doing better with the 4-5-1 formation as opposed to the 4-4-2. The 4-5-1 allows them to play Juninho, Govou, Malouda, Essien, and Diarra all at the same time with Wiltord the lone striker up front. When they played 4-4-2 Diarra usually had to sit and they had to partner someone with Wiltord up front and right now there isnt anyone whos played consistant enough to deserve to start up there. Frau, Bergounoux and Nilmar have all started up front at some time but right now I'd rather have Diarra start instead and just have Wiltord as the lone striker. Diarra is too good not to be starting. That is best lineup you can put out right now.

As a Chelsea fan and a follower of French football, Lyon was the one side I did not want us (CFC) to draw at this stage in the competition. They are playing very well at the moment, and always seem to be able to find a way to win when under pressure. I sincerely hope to see a Chelsea v. Lyon final.
