The game is sold-out since friday.
Ronaldo may play his first minutes with the team. There is a great expectation about that.
Raul and Morientes are injured and they won't play.
Possible starting line-up:
----------------------Casillas
Salgado-------Hierro---Helguera-----Roberto Carlos
Figo----------Cambiasso--Makelele-----Solari
------------------------Zidane
-------------------------Guti
Maybe Zidane could play in the left and Portillo as Forward with Guti.
Theoretically, this will be a hard game. The Alaves is a very solid team with one of the best defenses of la liga.

Figo scored the third on a breakaway before Ronnie came on. Casillas saved the penalty, which was low to his left.

Sure it has, lots. Just take a look at the calls that was in the favor of Valladolid last week.

Great win for Madrid. I saw the highlights on CNN International. Nice opening goal by Zidane and a fine finish by Ronaldo on his first goal. His second was set up on a silver platter by McManaman.
Great offensive display by the merengues but sounds like the defense was a bit iffy at times. I still think some defensive cover will need to be brought in during December.
But overall a great debut for Ronaldo. As Marca's portada says- Ronal...dos!

BBC: Ronaldo stars on debut (http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/europe/2299507.stm)
Ronaldo came off the bench to score twice on his debut for Real Madrid. The Brazilian star scored within 60 seconds of coming on and added a second 14 minutes later to help Real to a 5-2 win over Alaves.

Or the week before the nonexistent penalty in favor of Osasuna. Three penalties against us and one red card in only five games. And we win and don't cry like others.
Speaking about the game, extraordinary first goal of Zidane. He played very good all the game. The Alaves played very good in the first half, making a big pressure in all the field. For me, the key of the match was the save of casillas in the Alaves Penalty kick when the game was 2-1. After that the Real Madrid begin to play better and made its best play. These minutes were the best of the game. Zidane, Figo, Roberto Carlos, Guti, Macca, Cambiasso began to touch very good the ball and Figo made the third goal ........
And Ronaldo arrived!!! First goal in only one minute!!! And two goals in his first game - 25 minutes!!!
Ah, Miņambres played at a good level replaced Salgado.
Starting line-up:
--------------------Casillas
Miņambres---Hierro---Helguera------Roberto Carlos
Figo-------Cambiasso---Makelele-----Zidane
-------------Portillo--------Guti
Subs:
Solari for Guti
Ronaldo for Portillo
Macca for Makelele
Best:
Zidane, Figo, Casillas, Ronaldo
Worst:
Portillo - He has to take advantage of few opportunities of play that he is going to have this year.
