What do you think has been the best moment of the Man Yoo season so far?
Oops...forgot to add "Other" to the poll....but go ahead and post another moment if something else was your moment of the season (notice four of myfive poll choices have to do with winning against Arsenal)

Either Carroll's blunder against Spurs or Milan....
Says it all really.

I voted for RVN scoring the PK. So much depended on that PK. If he had failed to score, our season could have gone to pieces.
It also affected Arsenal a great deal as it seems that they were a much different team after that defeat.

Sorry, just saw the "Moment of the season" title and replied... Also, the poll wasn't there yet either.
I picked O'Shea's chip.
Just for the reaction alone.... :D
It didn't really "define" our season, but it's the one moment I remember most fondly....

Yeah...I'm more interested in what will stick in your mind when you think back to this season rather than the moment that defines it (the season's not yet over though ;) )

I thought he was going to cry after scoring that. I think missing the penalty the year before and then the whole saga the followed had a huge psychological impact on him.

Very true!
I think RVN reacted very well after the 0-0 game to the Arsenal players' attack on him.
I would like to know if Roy Keane was our PK taker and had missed the penalty, would the Arsenal players be brave enough to attack Keano too?
The tunnel bustup episode before the 4-2 game says otherwise!

Ronaldo's "shh" gesture to the Arsenal fans after he walked the ball into the net should be up there! it was class!
I voted for RVN scoring the PK, was such a great moment for him and us.

Yeah, I remembered the "shh" gesture after I made the poll, but I don't know how to add more choices
I think that was a pretty classy moment, especially since a lot of Arsenal fans claim Ronnie has no 'end product'.

Kind of surprised that Rooney's hat trick on his United debut didn't make the list. That's going to go down as one of our finest European memories, IMO. But I think there was something incredibly redeeming about O'Shea's chip. All we'd heard the past year was how we weren't good enough, this team was just a shadow of the great teams, a clear third place team, etc. Taking six points off of Arsenal is always a great thing. And it was a great moment in my personal memory, half of The Globe completely ecstatic, the other half totally silent. If only it had been the start of a title run, alas it doesn't look like that'll be the case. Anyways here's how I rank them:
1. O'Shea's chip
2. Rooney's hat trick
3. Ronaldo makes the Library even quieter
4. Ruud's redemption
5. Smithy's wonder strike against Norwich

Oops...that definitely belongs on the list...is there any way to edit the poll?
Its definitely one of the most memorable debuts ever, and I think its a sign of whats to come in Rooney's Manchester United career.

You nailed it there... O'Shea was like "what the f--k did I just do?"
Also, Rooney's hattrick was rediculous... he just had amazing field vision that day (not in passing, but in instinctively knowing where to go to get his shot).

1. Keane vs. Gerrard (home and away) ownage. He was as true to his word in the article where he said he still thinks he can stand eye-to-eye with the apparent best in the league and he proved it. That's what makes a true legend.
2. Keane vs. Arsenal in all games played. Yet again did the damn thing.
3. Rio's return a performance level since.
4. The games vs. Milan. Quality.
5. TBA .... :D wonder if anyone knows what i'm waiting on to crown a 'perfect' season  :D

Iv'e got so many I'm gunna have to do a list:
1 PK against Arsenal (I was praying Nistelrooy would score that)
2 Rooney's Hat-trick
3 Tunnel bust up Viera vs Keane
4 letting Arse-anal lead us 2-1 and then coming back to kick the $h!t out of them.
5 Ronaldo shutting up the Arse-anal fans
6 Rooney goal vs the Scousers and celebration
7 Freddie Ljunberg getting head-butted by Silvestre at Highbury
8 Giggs goal vs Chelsea in Carling Cup
9 SUPRISINGLY Neil Mellor's last minute winner vs Arsenal at Anfeild (I just love see Arsenal getting beat more than any other team it gets me HIGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!
Oh yeah and V.Nistelrooy had also missed a PK against Arsenal at the start of last season in Community Sheild when we won and Howard saved Pires' PK and he also missed against them at OT in the league and also against Chelsea at OT at the end of last season when we drew with them 1-1. PHEW! :) :)

Let me guess:
(1) Beating Arsenal 5-0 in the FA Cup Final
(2) Thrashing Chelsea to bring them down to earth
(3) Chelsea actually making a thorough mess of things and finding themselves second.
(4) Rio scoring
(5) Mourinho assaults a fan by b1tch-slapping him
(6) Shearer scoring a brace of own-goals to make it MANU 6 - NEWC 0
(7) Solskjaer makes a miraculous recovery and scores a hattrick in the last game of the season.
These are all of course hypothetical.

What about Rooney's Brace against 'Boro in the FA Cup. Not a crucial game or anything, but just more proof that Rooney oozes talent. The sublime chip and the crushing volley. Doesn't get any better than that.
