Don't really care about the article, just couldn't believe that soccernet.com used this as a title.

The Soccernet editors are British. They have completely different sensibilities than the other ESPN editors.
The article says Spurs won't play in the Intertoto Cup.

I beg to differ. I think there is plenty of back dooring going on at the Lane but it has nothing to do with football.

talking of tongue in cheek headlines I was sent a page from the Sky Sports web site a while back, concerning Man City's Manager Kevin Keegan signing David Seaman as a replacement for the departed Peter Schmeichel for which the title was...
Keegan fills Schmeichel's gap with Seaman...
I never found out whether it was a spoof or a real page, but it looked real enough...
Does anyone know for sure ??

don't know about that one, but i do know that seaman to fill schmeichel's shorts made it to press.
