Van Morrison

Just when you think you know the guy, you'll hear another great song and its by whom . . . . Van Morrison

oh well

from a dark and lonely street . . .
to the bright side of the road.

I'm convinced you can't go 3 minutes in the state of Florida without hearing Brown Eyed Girl. Thanks Jimmy Buffett.

Ska- The Toasters, The Specials, English Beat, Bosstones, etc.
Hard to feel in the dumps with a cool horn section blowing.....

And reggae-Marley, Tosh, Toots and the Maytels or even dance hall reggae like Shabba Ranks

"The Call To The Post". It reminds me of the sound cash registers make.

That was the worst part about living in FL for 8 years. Non-stop Buffet and all the 'Parrot-heads'. Crap music.

Van Morrison is great though. Into the Mystic!

Can't do Dance Hall. Whenever I was in the Caribbean, that is all you heard. Roots Reggae is the only way to go IMHO. Steel Pulse is another classic group.

I've been listening to a lot of Van Morrison lately, especially his early stuff. Best VM albums
1: Astral Weeks
2: Moondance
3: Tupelo Honey
4: St. Dominics Preview

I've also been listening to No Use For A Name alot lately, it always gets me smiling, if you havent heard them check out "More Betterness" Its their best album.
