First episode is tomorrow night. Glenn Close is the new captain and she doesn't look like she's going to take any sh!t from Vic.

I've been watching the last 2 episodes from Season 3 and it's really getting me amped for the new season.

As with the other F/X and HBO dramas I just wish they wouldn't take so damn long in between seasons.

I have no idea.

It used to be on at 9:00 but the repeats of season 3 that started a few weeks ago only started at 11:00 and I checked for tivoing purposes and the new season is there also.

Maybe it's 'cause of the swearing, sex and violence being on a basic cable channel.

I'm so psyched for tonight. I love this show but I hope they can keep the material fresh and not jump the shark. It looks like the strike team is now a thing of the past and they're focusing solely on vic. I hope I'm wrong :(

One of my favorite scenes that happened a couple of times was every time Vic went to see his Latino gangbanger for info. the guy was always going down on his girlfriend. Hilarious stuff.

LOL, that one was good. I liked that scene where vic presses amadillo's head on the stove and burns his face. There's something you don't see every day.

I just saw the first episode. Looks good. I like how they introduced Shane at the end. Perhaps he and vic are gonna butt heads a lot more in the future.

Quality premire. You could see Glenn Close's character sizing everybody up, already starting to manipulate people within the Barn.

Yeah--it's gonna be Vic versus everybody--except maybe Ronnie.

He's gonna have to hold Acevada at bay, work with the new captain, and fend off Shane--who I'm going to guess is in bed with the OG gone "good".

I think he wanted to come back. He seemed a little too eager to help out claudette and dutchboy.

It's also interesting how glenn close is trying to convince dutchboy that even if claudette is right, she's gonna take his career down the toilet with hers

Great slow burner to open up the new season.

Still dealing with fallout from the end of last season. I agree that it looks like Lem wants to come back and that Shane could have gone further over the edge and will most definitely be butting heads with Vic. Like that they made sure to show he was still a racist (naming the kid after Stonewall Jackson) and that nobody just kissed and made up after last season's finale.

What happened to Tavon at the end of last season? Is he going to come back at some point?

Acaveda is still dealing with his rape, but since Close is taking over I wonder how they're going to keep him in the show.

I thought she was great and as stated previously was sizing everyone up. I think she's going to be great on the show. And I like that there aleady appears to be a new ongoing plot for the season with Anthony Anderson as the leader/non-leader of the gang.

It's going to be exciting.

* Also have to mention that the preview for the new dramas Thief and Over There looked awesome. If they are anywhere as good as Nip/Tuck, Rescue Me and The Shield then they are going to be high quality and great additions to FX's line-up.

Tavon is still recovering from being in a coma. I hope they somehow throw him into the show later on in the season.

So it seems to be on between Vic and Shane (working in Antoine's stable). And Vic against Acevado. And Vic against the new captain to a degree. And Vic trying to get the band back together. And the divorce. And the lawsuit. And the Armenian Mob.

Damn, that's gotta make a man tired.

It seemed to me like Shane was copying Vic's old style of doing things (to a degree) and got in over his head at the end, there. And did I see Dutch and Karin making eyes at the hospital? Ooh la la.
