Andy Herron was interviewed for the Chicago Fire website. At the bottom they note that he released an album with his father, and also states that "His song "No Dejes" ("Don't Stop") was a major hit in Costa Rica"

Can anyone hook me up with a link or an mp3 clip for the song? I would love to share it with my fellow Fire supporters.

Dude...i dont want to disappoint you but....Andy herron is from limon, caribbean side of my country, 2 out of 3 persons from that part of CR, believe that they are reggae singers....
If he ever recorded a song it was defently not a major hit
I havent heard of it in my life, but i am gonna ask some of my caribbean friends that might know the answer....

I am glad we've still got someone in the squad with vocal talent despite Andy Williams' departure.

Reggae...sigh... I dont hate or dislike it.. but thats like all they play here in Panama... and I was thinking to myself.. Im gonna enjoy this trip to CR (last January) and get away from the Reggae... but first day there.. all I hear is.. "Pobre Diablo.. dicen que te han visto por la calle vagando....¨"

so the Irony is I tried to escape it.. and all I heard while in CR was Panamanian Reggae.....sigh...

by the way.. if anyone is interested.. Regaeton originated in Panama..

Well, I hate to go into the history.. cause than it will indicate that I have some knowledge on the subject which I particuarly didnt want to admit.. but it goes back to El Chombo.. some singers from Puerto Rico came to Panama listened to the beat and music and took it back to Puerto Rico and adapted it as their own and now claim it as their own..

Theres a song that came out in Panama about that.. but I forget what its called nad the lyrics.. lol.. if I remeber it Ill post the lyrics..

C'mon rey, admit it....i heard that you came here to costarica to impress ll the ticas with your dancing moves.....

you were saying things like this in all the bars in CR

"Hol mi nina, ven a bailar reggueton con un pana de verda!" (with a hotwannabesexy panamenian accent!)

LOL!!!

It's like a reggeton war between PAN and PR....
I hate that music, but i gotta accept that hot girls go cry with that music!

So, if hot girls get crazy dancing reggueton, i have no problems with it!

my friend and I would go this bar in Heredia called Ottos and we would grab a guitar they had as ornament and start playing and singing with a bottle of Bacardi at the table and the girls would just flock to the table especially when we sang in English y cuando llegaban a la mesa entraba lo Panameņo, Sopa mami.. quieres un trago.. tu sae´s ke lo que es.. We ended up leaving with a list of phone numbers y de alli se formaba la ponchera..

I even had a girl call me on my cel phone in Panama.. I was like.. woah

I have to go back.. omg.. the beautiful woman that are in Heredia.. Im gonna go back to find my future wife.. lol, no le dicen la Ciudad de las Flores por nada.. =)

Man. You learn something new everyday on Bigsoccer! Too bad he doesn't get bonus points in the MLS fantasy league for his musical exploits. :)

Any chance of a Nore, Daddy Yankee, Nina Sky and Andy Herron Colabo?
